Joining Best Buy Canada as the Communications Manager, Danielle brings a background in public relations, media communications, consumer marketing and crisis management. In this role, Danielle is responsible for driving the communications strategy for the Best Buy brand, including Geek Squad and Best Buy Mobile to increase brand presence and awareness across Canada.
Prior to joining Best Buy, Danielle worked for prominent Vancouver PR agency Wilcox Group where she led and managed a variety of client accounts including TELUS, Seventh Generation, Whole Foods Market and White Spot Restaurants providing issues management, strategic counsel, consumer marketing PR and brand communications support. In this role, Danielle planned and managed a number of client events including branding re-launches, new store launches and restaurant promotions, leading all media relations activities and communications strategies.
Danielle holds a bachelor’s degree from Simon Fraser University with a major in communication and a minor in French.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys sports, musicals and following the latest news in celebrity gossip.
