Lyric Dubee's originals are soulful, encompassing both soft melodies with rock music. Lyric's talent and passion surprise spectators and other musicians alike. Lyric wrote and recorded his debut album at age 12. It contains 7 songs with powerful solos and licks combined with heartfelt lyrics. His song titled VAMP was written for the Twilight Movie and he was inspired to write the riveting song YOU INSTEAD about the consequences of texting and driving. • Jill Jambor Jill Jambor
    Jill Jambor

Singer/songwriter Jill Jambor is making her way onto Ontario's folk music scene, leaving impressions of her "sweet, whispery, new-folk voice" on the ears and in the minds of the listening. Jill has opened for acts like Suzie Vinnick and Big Rude Jake, and shared workshop stages with Dala, The Good Lovelies, John Gorka and Lennie Gallant. She was named one of the winners of last year's Summerfolk Discoveries competition, and Jill made her first appearance at the Summerfolk Festival in Owen Sound last August. Jill recently released The Bad One EP (October 2010). With only a few years of experience writing and performing, she is already being recognized for her "stellar songwriting." Her "neat" and "fresh" songs combine aspects of traditional folk songs with a range of other contemporary genres and written forms, making them a wonderful blend of folk and other with lyrics that pursue the elusive side of common things.

  • Julien Michaud Julien Michaud
    Julien Michaud

Julien Michaud was born in London, Ontario then eventually made his way to Barrie, where he would pick up his first guitar at the age of 15. Richmond Switch is soon to release their second album in August, which was recorded at Phase One Studios in Scarborough, Ontario. Julien has recently started a second band named "the second fret", which will premiere in August at Best Buy. • Shawn Crozier Shawn Crozier
    Shawn Crozier

As most do. All musical journey’s start the same, I’m sure mine is no different. The root of it all, is love, and passion, for music. Through this love, and passion. I always wasn’t afraid to sing, and eventually, I found my way to a guitar. Through school, I would find some friends, who we all grew together, to jam, and, sing. Sharing the passion we all had, and growing my skills along the way.

Branching off into my first band, in 2004. I would hold a lead singer role, in a four piece band Mundane Redemption. The band released a three song demo, in October of that year. In Fall 2007, I would release my first solo album. “This Is All, From Deep Inside”. April 2008 would see the release of my single “See What Your Makin’”, later receiving a nomination for Best Punk/Rock/Metal Video by an unsigned artist, in Cravefest 2008 an International Music Video Festival. Winter 2009, I made an appearance on A-Channel morning show, playing a few tunes, and talking about my album.

  • Josh Hutchinson Josh Hutchinson
    Josh Hutchinson

Josh Hutchinson, better known as lead singer and guitarist in the band Into the Entropy, started playing music at the age of 15. With a wide range of musical taste spanning from Rihanna to Meshuggah and Alice in Chains to Johnny Cash there’s a wide range or writing styles with in his music. From Niagara Falls to Toronto and Los Angeles he has performed and recorded music across North America. With plans to finish up a six song solo EP in early 2012, Josh will be releasing his debut solo record that will have a country desert feel. • Stacey Jameison Stacey Jamieson
    Stacey Jamieson

It comes as no surprise to anyone that 21 year old Innisfil, Ontario country artist Stacey Jamieson would end up on the stage; it was obvious from an early age that performing on a stage was exactly where she belonged. Taking every opportunity to perform, Stacey participated in numerous talent shows, contests and festivals before deciding to pursue her career seriously in 2008.

The past couple of years have been a whirlwind of activity and excitement for Stacey. Some of the highlights have included guest performing with country band ‘After Tuesday’ at the 2009 Barrie Earth Hour Music Festival along with Tal Bachman and David Usher, and being invited back to perform at the 2010 Barrie Earth Hour Music Festival as a solo act. She also won the 2009 KICX106 North of Nashville Star contest which gave her the opportunity to open for the Wilkinson’s at Barrie’s Kempenfest Waterfront Festival for an audience of thousands and opened the door to her being invited back as an opening act for Aaron Pritchett at the 2010 Kempenfest. She also opened for Jaydee Bixby and performed at the Barrie New Music Festival in September 2010. Stacey’s attended the CCMA’ s in Vancouver 2009 and Edmonton 2010 and can’t wait to attend again this year in Hamilton. She’s also travelled to Nashville twice in the past year to record the tracks for her upcoming debut CD. Stacey is also making a name for herself as a Host/MC, and has enjoyed playing this role at many charitable and non-profit functions in her community.

  • Grant Boyer Grant Boyer
    Grant Boyer

Beginning only as a side project to his long time commitment with Ontario based hard rock group The Entropy, Grant Boyer’s developing solo career has become an attention worthy endeavor. Numerous hard rock tours, albums and late nights never seem to get old in this scene but neither does a hard rocker settling down with an acoustic guitar in a gentle setting.

Grant Boyer’s debut ‘self titled’ solo release was released in December 2009 with a few single release follow-ups since. His debut record is a much softer and soothing form of artistic expression, much different than you may have heard from his previous material with Into The Entropy. More recently Grant has released a 2nd album, entitled "Live at Groundswell". As the name suggests, this is a live album recorded at a local coffeehouse that has always catered to musical talent, young and old.

Although his plans are to stay on the big stage supporting a much more aggressive delivery of music, you can now sit and enjoy a more soothing release of emotion. "Like" Grant Boyer on Facebook to stay informed of news and upcoming performances in your area.
