It’s so tempting to bring along your Smartphone while traveling but you’ll pay dearly for all that convenience but those roaming charges can bankrupt you.

There have been some famous examples of huge roaming bills such as Winnipeg student Miguel Yetman who got slammed with an $18,000 bill or most Adam Savage, the co-host of the TV show MythBusters and his $11,000 bill for two-hours of surfing on his phone.
Recently the European Parliament approved a clampdown on the excessive prices being charged by mobile network operators in time for summer travel. Unfortunately, North America has not yet followed suit, so we are still subject excessive prices for roaming fees.
Be prepared for the upcoming summer vacation season and try these tips to avoid back-breaking roaming charges.

There’s nothing more mouthwatering then the savory smells from your neighbour’s BBQ. Those smoky aromas wafting over into your yard are usually all it takes for you to dust off your own BBQ and spark up the grill. Sadly for those of us whose grilling skills are not at par, our neighbour’s cuisine seems just that much more delectable. What we hope to be a delicious dish can easily become a charred, tough piece of meat that ends up smoking out everyone on the block. Humph.
