WHY should I pick up my order at a Best Buy store?

It's fast. During store hours, you can pick up your order within 3 hours of placing it on BestBuy.ca.

It's convenient. Pick up your item based on your schedule, instead of waiting at home for a package to arrive.

You get the lowest price. If your product is available at a lower price in the store you selected at the time of pickup, your credit card will be charged to reflect the lowest available price.

HOW do I use In-store Pickup on BestBuy.ca

Just follow these easy steps:

  • Place your item(s) in your cart and select "Pick up in-store" (all items need to be available for Pick Up in order to proceed).
  • Click the "Select store" link.


  • Click the select store link
  • Find the store you want to pick up your order and click on "Select" button


  • Find your store
  • After you have completed the checkout process, wait to receive 2 emails:
    • Order Confirmation email - verifies we've received your order.
    • Store Pickup Notification email - confirms the store has reserved your item(s) and your purchase is ready for pickup. It will also walk you through the steps you'll take when you get to the store. This email arrives within 3 hours during store hours.

WHEN can I pick up my order?

After you place your order, wait to receive the above mentioned Store Pickup Notification email. This email should arrive within 3 hours, during regular store hours. You can pick up your purchase anytime during store hours after the Store Pickup Notification email has been received and before 3 days have passed.

WHAT should I do when I get to the store?

  • Within 3 days* of receiving your 2 emails, please bring these items to the store:
    • Store Pickup Notification email
    • The purchasing credit card(your card will be charged at the time of pickup)
      NOTE: Only the person whose name is on the purchasing credit card can pick up the order at the store.
  • Check with the associate at the store entrance or the Customer Service desk for directions to the Product Pickup area.
  • Your item(s) will be ready at the Product Pickup area. For select items, the store will arrange for retrieval from inventory (this may take a few minutes).

*If you have not picked up your purchase within 3 days, your order will be cancelled. Your credit card will not be charged.
