It has a Celeron Processor

This is an entry level laptop. This is no surprise. One thing to know is that the Celeron processor is VERY slow. And that is with an empty hard drive. It is painfully slow. Did I mention SLOW? Another thing is the bilingual keyboard, which diminishes the size of the shift keys on the right and left. Especially the left. What this means is that your left small finger must hit the tiny shift key exactly, or you will have a back slash rather than a capitalized letter or whatever it is you thought you might want. It is very annoying.

Its amazing

I had bought it thinking hey this computer is so bad and turned it on it was amazing to see how this computer without me loading anything opened my eyes thinking instead of how bad it is I looked on the bright side I have a usable computer and yup awesome

Great machine

It has enough power for average users. My 9 year old granddaughter says it works fine for her games. I tested it by running three YouTube videos at the same time. There was no stuttering on any of them. I have high speed cable internet.

Terrible Laptop

I purchased this laptop less than a year ago and chose an Acer because my husband has had his for an impressive amount of time with little to no issues. He must've gotten a lucky one because I don't think I could've picked a worse laptop! I'm pretty unhappy that it took me so long to realize just how bad it was because now it's too late to return it. I do the majority of my schooling through online courses and I have suffered because of this laptop freezing/having to re-start in the middle of assignments/tests. It's SO frustrating. The fan just starts going crazy, it freezes and no matter how long you wait, you have to hold in the power button to (improperly) re-start it without being able to save any of your stuff! UGH! I'll be putting this one for sale and looking for another. I WILL NOT get another Acer. Don't waste your money.

Not happy.

Ya I'm deffinitly not a fan of this laptop. Was not told that it was a such a slow laptop till I went in to get things fixed. The geek squad guy told me when I brought it in to get fixed it's one of the slower models. "Not impressed at all" I also purchested office and it doesn't even work so now I have to go back in to get that delt with, so until I do the only thing I can do is watch Netflix. Until it's fixed, I probably won't ever buy another product from Best Buy as I feel scammed by them.

This laptop isn't built for anyone using it this decade. The processor speed means that any simple task is slowed down immensely. I have gone through the trouble of uninstalling all the bloatware that comes preloaded onto this laptop, hoping that it would help some but it had no affect unfortunately. Currently looking at different laptops so I can just exchange this one same day. I do NOT recommend this laptop for anyone unless all you're using it for is wordpad and very simple text-based web browsing. Anything with video or loading a more complicated program will just cause too much lag. Pros: screen size is good, clarity is good. Cons: processor speed is super slow, trackpad is GARBAGE, comes with bloatware that the user must uninstall on their own.

Disposable laptop

I bought it thinking Acer was a good name, at least it was when I had my first laptop from them. It was built to last. I already have a crack in the monitor frame and I'm not one to tote my laptop. It's home, on a coffee table. It's made cheap and I've had annoying issues with the Lan Network adapter. I'm glad I didn't pay a lot, I can see my getting rid of this laptop in a few years or whenever it craps out. I won't be buying another Acer if this is the quality that's going to be put forth in this product.

No Disc Drive

I bought this laptop thinking that there may be a disc drive as per the picture. I wasn't sure when purchasing because the specs say no optical drive, yet the picture shows there is one. There is NO drive for a DVD/CD. Will likely be returning as this is false advertising. So disappointed.

Terrible doesn't even begin to describe this laptop

This has to be the worst laptop I've had. I was looking for something that is simple and runs smoothly and fast. Well I haven't don't anything to this laptop except set it up and now while I use it, it freezes up every other minute. Taking me 15 mins to write this review. I will be returning this laptop tomorrow.
