Same....but different

Having played the previous game in the series, I went into Akiba's Beat expecting a similar game. But I was both disappointed and surprised. It took me a bit of playing before I got used to the new story, still having the same quality of graphics and gameplay with just a little tweeking to the combat. Anyone who played the Akiba;s Trip will recognize the map and area and all anime and japanese import fans will like the look and feel of the game. Overall a good distraction and entertaining play with only a few if any negatives to mention. The whole mascot comment thing can get a little repeditive rather quickly and can become irritating. But the voice acting and different characters types, though cliche are both interesting and funny to watch interacting with one another and the humour is more often funny then it is worthy of a facepalm.
