Horrible

I love apple most apple products but this has to be the worse device I've ever owned. As a wifi router, it's fantastic, IF IT WORKS. On iPhone 7 Plus and MacBook Pro mid 2012 it connects fine and is fast, but on my Roku and iPad Air 2 it says no internet connection. As for the 2TB backup, the transfer rate was probably faster if you tried to use floppy disks. It's literally in the kbps. How are you supposed to backup entire computers (THIS THINGS PURPOSE) at that rate. It would take months. Do not buy this unless you like practicing your aim for the garbage can. I've had it 4 days and hoping then will accept my return.

Works great

I had this up and running within 5 minutes. I noticed a difference in speed with streaming, loading right away. Backups are running as usual and seem to be faster. I had an old time capsule before and this seems even better. I love Apple products

The best in class

I own this product for two years now and I'll tell I can't be happier no more video buffering no more slow speed no more unplugging and restarting the router as I used to do with old ones this thing works like a chain yes it is bit expensive but you will get what you pay for.

Not the quality I expected

Not the quality I expected from an Apple product. If I am paying [...] for a product [...] it had better work right out of the box. The time capsule worked but it wouldn't keep an Internet connection. The tech support at apple tried to tell me that it was my modem. I returned it and purchased a Linksys instead.

Yeah, it's pricey...

Okay, everyone on this earth can admit that there is a premium attached with Apple products. If you've ever scoured the forums of any tech related web site, you've heard both sides of the argument. Design and effortless functionality vs personalized customization and value...The Mac vs PC user debate will go on for some time, and while I pledge no allegiance to either camp (I am a geek and love me my tech), this has been the most ridiculously easy network to set-up and looks so elegant, it's hard to remember that not only is it a wireless router, but a "so dumb, it's simple", back up hard drive with 2TB of storage. Seriously, you can set the thing up with full encryption and guest accounts ready to go all from an iPod touch or any other iOS device (or laptop etc..) The router has been solid so far, with absolutely no signal drop and any complaints that I've read regarding this unit are generally in reference to the drives slow write speed, which you can get around by scheduling back-ups at off use hours. Admittedly, I love the design of this unit and the space saving form factor. Could a cheaper unit have done the trick? Yes. Would it look as nice in my nerd like eyes... [...] no.
