Perfect for my retiree husband

It's hard to find a desk console phone these days, especially one just for general use. This was the closest I could find to the right phone for my husband's home office. He's retired, but does a lot of volunteer work from home. This was a gift for him, to replace an older phone with no display screen. His eyesight isn't quite what it used to be, so the beauty of this phone is the display screen with its lovely large print. He doesn't have to hunt for his reading glasses or squint to see who is calling. And he likes a full-size handset, not the smaller ones we have with our wireless phones in other rooms around the house. I didn't like the look of the orange backlight in the display as pictured online, but that only appears when there's a call. Most of the time it's black text on grey. Paul didn't like the screen display "17 missed calls" (or however many we'd picked up on other phones), but that was easily changed to a date/time display after he read the manual. He found it easy to input all his speed-dial numbers, and he likes the sound quality when he's talking to someone, or when using Speakerphone. We didn't need the answering machine feature, but this was still a very good buy for what he needed.

Great Phone

Large numeric keypad and LCD as well as a fully configurable answering machine make this phone the best bang for the buck. The shipping was really fast and priced right. A well made and fully featured set for sure.

Very Nice:

This is a very well made phone for the price. After we discovered the cordless 6.0 phones were making out Fibe Internet cut out every time we made a call, we decided to go back to corded phones. We needed an answering machine as well, and this AT&T model fit the job perfectly. We found if you move around very much while on it the sound distorts a bit, and the features are a little more complicated than previous phones we've had. Other than that I'd recommend them to anyone needing a corded phone.

What I was looking for.....

Was looking for a decent desk phone with call display and speaker. This one seemed to fit the bill. So far no issues in the 3 weeks I've had it. A little more than I wanted to pay but works well nonetheless.

Great corded phones

The order came quickly to my door, shipping was free! I purchased five (5) corded phones to replace the cordless phones throughout the house to decrease the WiFi in our home. The phones were easy to assemble and connect - they all work perfectly and I love them. Being seniors, we love the big keys and easy to read numbers - the call display is easy to read and we can adjust the volumes of the ringer and the voice. The only drawback is that they are only available in black - I would have preferred white, however the price was right!!! I would definitely recommend these phones.

Does the job!

We recently scaled back our home phone package with Bell and removed the answering service feature so we needed a phone with a built in answering machine. We decided to go corded as we already have a cordless phone system at home. This phone does the job and we are happy with it for the price we paid. It is pretty easy to navigate. The only downside is that even though we pay for call display with Bell, this phone does not show the caller in the ID window unless they are a person you have saved in your address book. Minor annoyance for the monthly savings of not paying Bell for an answering service.

AT&T phone

I do not find this phone user friendly. Just to see who called during the day - well I have not been able to figure it out yet. You have to scroll through the entire directory to get to what you want. My old phone, I just had to press the button with the letter I wanted on it.
