Essential if you want to make YouTube game videos

This kit has everything you need to connect to your PC, Xbox One/360, PS4/3 to make game videos. Most of the heavy lifting transcoding is done with the Avermedia hardware, so if you want to stream to a PC or Mac, it's pretty light on the CPU. You can record up to 1080P, which is fantastic. I didn't observe any odd recording artifacts - video playback was smooth and flawless. There's a great option to add live commentary audio to a separate MP3 file, so it lets you adjust the mix (in post processing) and / or re-record a new commentary. One important thing to note here though: Although there is a very neat PC-free option to record video (without a PC or Mac, directly to an SD card), you are NOT able to add a separate audio commentary while you are recording video. In order to do live audio commentary, you *must* use the option where you are recording to a PC or Mac. Definitely a thumbs up, and must-have if you want to post good, high quality videos (with audio commentary) to YouTube.
