These are a bit pricy I know, but are one of the best headphones out there. I use them when I'm making music indoors and I took it on vacation too and they were perfectly fine. Nothing happen to them and the sound quality is the best ones. People compare these to Bose and monster, but the quality is no where near. The beats pros are by fat one of the best ones. The studios are good too, but like I always say if you are going to pay that amount for headphones I'd highly suggest upgrading to the pros.
What most people don't understand about the Beats Pro compared to the rest of the Beats Headphone Line is these are Studio DJ Headphones that don't "Color" the sound by adding Bass or any "Features" to change the sound of your music... If you are buying them because you are looking for heavy bass or anything other than what the artist intended you to hear, Grab the Studio or Solo2 Headphones, but if you want the "Cleanest, Unfiltered sound" then you can to the right place, The price of these is high, but for the demanding audiophile, this is the right way to hear as close as you will get to live sound directly in your own mix... Comparatively to other Studio headphones though this is a not bad savings... I LOVE the rotating ear cups, and wish they still came with both cords, one with the "Control Talk" and the old coiled cord, for music listening at it's best... But overall, this is one of my FAVE HEADPHONE DESIGNS, and an indispensable addition to my listening arsenal...
if you have the money go for the headphones you will not be disappointed. It gets warm after a bit of wearing but the same with all. It was good until it took it in vacation and the earcup material started ripping. I thought okay and put some tape. Started ripping again and I decided to use it only at home and nowhere elae
It works amazing, but its prized can absolutely adjusted.
Compared with solo and studio, I don't big improvement on sound quality. It will only make you look cool.
I bought these beats and at first they had had great sound although a tad pricey. After about 30 minutes or so your ears start to get really sore and uncomfortable. I had studio's before that broke after a year and I thought these would be better because they are stainless steel, but it turns out they break just as easy, the coiled cable doesn't work very well and it crackles when using it. The pivoting ear cups eventually pivot all the way around and the paint scratches very easily. And mine just broke and the headphones don't work at the same time, which ever cup has the cable plugged in works but not both.
Excellent worth every dollar.
Guaranteed... I'm tellin ya this PRO is sick! ^^
Good, I would recommend this if you got the money for is if not then next best is the new beats studio.
I have a pair of beats with monster and beats made by beats I must say I like them both what I like is that there is a iPhone wire that comes with the new beats. What I like about the beats headphones is that my ears don't freeze in the winter and the sound is almost like if the person is next to you. I use it everyday my old beats by monster has some wear and tear from my hat like the part that goes on ur head has some rips I put scotch tape on it and it has some scratches on the ear cups. I use my beats everyday all day I even work with them. Don't be sad if u don't get the full effect with an iPhone with a playstation vita or a computer the sound is better I think. The big cable is better for sound than the iPhone cable so I use the big one mostly. What I use the most with my beats is the ear swivel I always twist my left ear cup to hear what my friends are saying and it is easy to put back in place. I'm not sure how helpful this review will be but u just fell like giving my point of view. I listen to hip hop mostly I must say I love watching YouTube music videos with it too. I don't suggest u buy this anywhere else than ur official reseller like best buy don't buy them on the street or small shops as in u will mostly get a knock off. Get them at best buy :)
Got these for a road trip with some friends, just to be able to relax and have a bit of quiet time with music. The packaging was nicely laid out. When I first took them out, they definitely had a nice feel to them. They did seem a bit heavy at first, but it still seemed like a quality build.
First couple of uses I was somewhat impressed. However because they are so heavy with thick stainless steel, they become extremely uncomfortable when used for longer periods (1+ hours). Also with the earpads being circles, it cuts off parts of your ear, making the clamping sensation even worse.
As for sound quality, its fairly decent. I found that the sound was a little bit muddled from the large amount of bass. When the bass itself isn't that sharp it dulls the clarity of the mids, and then the highs sound a bit screechy from the lack of harmony of the rest of the frequencies. At least that was my experience.
Overall: Decent Headphones, Slightly Uncomfortable, Ultimately not worth the price compared to other headphones out there.
