Very happy purchase. Incidentally far superior to the keyboard, with weighted keys of equivalent quality, that I bought for twenty years ago.

A very good choice

This digital piano proved to be more impressive than I had thought, given the price. It has more imbedded feature than I expected. Most important the sound is pretty good.

Casio piano review

I bought the Casio 88 key digital piano 2 weeks ago. I have been taking piano lessons for 3 years and have been using a 61 key and decided to upgrade. In the short time I have had the piano i can say that I am very happy with it. The sound is great, there are very few bells and whistles on it, and that is how i like it. I can hear a small clunk (noise) if I let the keys up too fast instead of being gentle. it does not disturb me,, It might be a problem with a more professional player. The pedal works just fine. I like the look of it. The stand was not difficult at all to put together. There was some confusion with the delivery and some of that was likely on my part. Best Buy sent me 2 pianos when I only ordered 1. I called them and they e-mailed me a return address sticker that I printed and then took the package to the post office for a return. 7 days after it was returned they refunded me the cost for the extra piano.

not too bad

Good for a beginner to intermediate player. I bought it for some basic recording and it works very well. No hissing just pure and clean sound. Keys are fairly responsive so you can do the Jerry Lee if you want. No problem recommending this piano.

Great piano for this price

As a beginner, I find this piano to be very good for the price point. Sounds great. Feels like a real piano (to my beginner hands, anyways).

Perfect for Beginners

I'm 34 years old and decided to start piano lessons. This is a great starter digital piano. You can't beat the price. The stand that's included is quite nice and looks great in our condo. Highly recommended for piano newbies!

Wow. What a deal - Plays like a real piano!

Just got it on sale - the stand was a bit tricky to do by myself, but I figured it out (you need to lay it on its side when assembling the two side panels) - the rest is easy. Very sturdy too. And the Piano itself - great touch sensitivity. Set it to Grand Piano 1 with Reverb 10 and it sounds like a concert piano ~ LOVE it!! Great deal for the price ~ I highly recommend it. I'm just learning to play, so this is just the right instrument to buy for my small apartment. I suppose if you're a pro, you'd want to go for the next model up. But for me - this is perfect!

Great for the price

I bought it on sale for my children, and I'm very happy with it. The weighted keys feel authentic and respond well. The sound is decent. Not great, but I didn't really expect anything phenomenal from a low end piano. The kids enjoy it and their teacher says the piano will be adequate for the next several years. Don't pay full price, though. The stand was easy to assemble.

Good Starter Piano

First let me start by stating that I am not a Piano player. But as a parent of a young starting piano player, the Casio (CDP120CS) was a very affordable alternative to purchasing a higher end digital like the Kawai's or even a string piano. My son says that the Casio does have a slightly different sound but not in a bad way, just a little different. To him it makes no difference he says he enjoys both the Casio and string piano he plays in class equally, and to me (and him) that's most important.. At this price point, for a starting Piano player it was worth the risk if he decides to no longer play the Piano in the future. I was hesitant to buy this piano because I thought my son would be missing out playing a lower end digital piano, but I am happy that we did because to my son it sounds great and he says that it feels like his class string piano, in the end that's all that matters. (and I saved quite a few bucks too, that's always nice!).

Not perfect, but for the price a great buy

Got this on sale online. Easy to set up. Sound quality is good. For someone that wants great sound, this probably isn't the one, but it's a value buy, not a $10K piano. I've played piano for 20 years, and this works perfect for me. Good product, great price.
