We love our Cuisinart Convection Toaster oven, but there are a few things to be aware of.

There are a few things to be aware of for this otherwise lovely toaster oven. Firstly with regards to making toast, the bottom dial lets you set how long you want to toast for. But you also need to set the other two dials to the toast setting as well. I think if you want to make toast, it's pretty clear that you don't want to "warm" the bread, or "bake" the bread, but that's what might happen unless you set ALL THREE dials to the toast setting. In my opinion they should've designed it so that if you set the bottom dial to toast, it makes you toast, regardless of the settings on the other two dials. Secondly, the oven temperature knob has quite a bit of play where it connects to the underlying rheostat. This means that if you want to set the temperature to 350 degrees, for example, you're going to get a different temperature if you dial the knob clockwise to the 350 degree setting, than you will if you dial it counterclockwise to the 350 setting. It's disconcerting. The instruction manual really is not helpful for either of these concerns. Otherwise, we're very pleased we have it. It looks great, is solidly constructed, and works well.

Good value toaster oven

Bought this toaster oven to replace a microwave in my travel trailer. It fits perfectly on the microwave shelf and has added much to my time away food needs. Easy to use with reliable cooking success.

Good value for the money!

Good value for the money. This toaster oven is nice and deep to accommodate larger pans. I was disappointed there wasn't a timer but no big deaI apart from not shutting off automatically. I used my own timer. Will have to be more vigilant when using the oven for this reason. At least the toast function shuts off automatically.
