works for me

I like panel that tells me how long things will last and amount of power being consumed... Nice unit, seems to work so far but have not had a power outage ye.

Decent power supply / battery backup

CyberPower is really making a name for themselves with this line of battery backup / UPS devices. I bought this model back in August, and it has been plugging away ever since. I like the LCD screen that lets me know exactly how many watts of power my computer setup (iMac, cable modem, router, external hard drive) is using at any given moment, and how many minutes it will continue to run when the power goes out. Super easy to setup, just really wish the box had a handle for getting it home from the store. It is quite heavy, but that's because it's filled with batteries.

Good unit overall

Picked up one of these as I've always delayed having one because I didn't need it. But the random times I did, was one of those facepalm moments. Half the outlets are battery other half are surge. pretty wide spacing, AC cord is on an angle too and sits flat which is nice you need to download cyberpowers powerpanel from their website to use the UI via the usb cable, but its very easy to read, self test feature is great too. My only downside for this unit is when I plugged in my ethernet, I'd periodically get a disconnect/delay for a second or so, like it couldn't keep up. I'm gonna guess thats just due to the circuitry and on cheaper home based units this is where the differentiation is for enterprise, and why they're so much more expensive. Nice machine, with my desktop, monitor, router all plugged in i have an ETA of 22 minutes runtime. My desktops pretty good as I use it for playing Crysis so its a bit of a power hog. Currently at idle with a video playing, the readout shows consuming 299 watts or 429 VA.
