good product

Good product, I'm happy with it. Does the job well. I had some trouble using its web interface (to configure the modem). In particular, I tried to change my username and password (for the ADSL connection) and it turns out you can only do that by resetting the modem. Perhaps this is normal for an ADSL modem, though.

Teksavvy Compatible

This wired Ethernet modem/router works flawlessly with Teksavvy internet provider. I added the wireless DIR-605L router to it in bridge mode and the installation for both the modem and router were easy to configure manually from the D-link web site. I have a wireless printer, xbox 360, Samsung smart tv. and laptop working flawlessly. No dropped connections at all so far. I changed providers from Bell to Teksavvy and I must say with this modem router combo, my speeds are much, much higher. I also saved a bundle of money buying these two pieces of D-link hardware rather than the modems Teksavvy sells. So I highly recommend this modem/router to anyone looking for a dependable budget priced modem. Well worth the money.

Works Well

Have had this running for a couple of months now and have had no issues. Was a bit of a pain to setup though as is didn't want to detect the network cable initially.

D-Link ADSL Modem - works like a charm

This modem replaced our Bell rental speedstream ADSL modem. It's full featured to allow for multiple connection types, but PPPoE / bridged mode effectively dumbs down the routing capabilities allowing the modem to operate seamlessly as a passthrough, ADSL modem.

Not Bad For The Money

Have been running three months with this modem . I replaced this modem for my the Speedstream from Bell because I did not want to sit around and wait for a new one from Bell. I have had no issues with it except that the power jack in the back slips out and loses its connection ,but this is only after I have bumped it.

Not very reliable

It keeps on dropping connection on my DSL line.Have to repeatedly turn it off and on.Not very reliable product. My old Speedtouch was a work horse;never gave me any problem. Avoid it.
