Greate device

Works great, and no noticeable speed issues. I have this device connected on the one end to a LAN, with several computers, external harddrives, and printers, and the other end to a wireless router which is connected to a bunch of laptops, tablets, and game consoles. I have never had any issue with speeds, connectivity, or indeed anything. Highly recommended if you have a wireless router, and you want to connect some computers without wireless connections in another room.

Great Product !!!!

This is the future of home net working!!!... I have been using the D-Link Power line for about a month now and it works great! Highly recommended especially in newer homes with up to date electrical. If there are any negative reviews here it’s possibly because they are running on old knob and tube wiring. If you want hardwire speed back to any computer buy this product!!

Great product and simple set up.

This unit was recommended to us by one of the best buy sales staff. We bought this product to hook up to an Xbox 360 as opposed to buying a wifi adapter for the Xbox. Not only is it cheaper, but the speed from the D-Link power line unit is amazing and far better than a wifi adapter. The set up was so easy it was hard to believe. Plugged it in to the wall as described and than attached the ethernet cable to the router and went upstairs and plugged the second unit in and attached it to the Xbox and it was done.

Just like every product there is always a bad review somewhere. I had high hopes for powerline after reading many positive reviews. I bought the product, tried it in many different areas of my house with no luck. I kept on moving closer and closer to the router, about 20 feet away, where it was plugged in and did receive a connection. Plugged in the computer to test the speeds and it was very very slow. I had a red light for the connection which means a connection speed of less than 6Mbs I believe. Needless to say it didn't connect to where I needed it to go or with sufficient speed. I had better hopes and at least it is working for some people. Best Buy took it back no problems so I say at least give it a try if it works great, if not, then at least you can return it no questions asked. Good luck!

DHP-307AV Experience

This was the best money spent for a connection where I could not get a cable run. It took all of 5 minutes to hook them up and have them working. Only negative....I have to work hard to get another plug in the top connection of the same outlet. I was eventually able to do it though. Love these things!!

Amazed - Solved my problem

I was sceptical when I purchased these but now am amazed. My home office and printer were in the basement and connected via ethernet cable to my cable modem. After some renovations we wanted to move the PC and printer to the 2nd floor of our townhouse but alas no network up there. Tried a couple of wireless options but they were too slow and too expensive. Bought this kit and was amazed. My internet bandwidth upstairs over the DHP-307AV is the same as it was when I was ethernet connected to my Rogers model trought ethernet cable to the model 10MBS. Thrilled !
