Awesome powerhouse

Everything is fast. Only critique is I'm going from a desktop and so widescreen does make the vertical height shorter and hence images on websites require more scrolling. But for gaming, and graphic design, a lovely little thing.

Dell Inspirion

I am enjoying this computer,I had originally purchased a Hewlett Packard which ended up being returned, so far so good with the Dell, not overly impressed with the scroll pad as it seems to be selective at times.

Good price

It does everything the webpage said it would, but it is slow. It needs upgrade in hard drive speed.

Great laptop

I bought this when it was [$price], and well worth the money. I am still adapting to Windows 8, and have run into some issues coding a game at the moment but that is probably due to the program. But looking at the everyday needs it is very helpful and usable. I recommend.

Good bargain on sale but not quite perfect.

I bought this laptop a few weeks ago and it does everything the webpage said it would. However running 720p HD videos on youtube is a bit tricky at times and I'm not sure why. The hard drive is slow but I knew that. A few minor upgrades and this laptop would be great, {Hard drive speed, processor and video capabilities need to be increased just a little bit}. If you want to play games, I doubt this laptop will please you. The touch screen seems very good and the laptop is quiet and cool, no heat issues at all. For regular work or regular internet surfing it's just about perfect. I will make another review if anything changes or update this on if I can. I will also install a game on it to see how it does. Perhaps an old game and a new one to compare.

Excellent Value

Excellent laptop and great features. The battery doesn't seem to last as long as claimed. Also, scroll pad not very response. Otherwise, this laptop represents good value for the features it has.

It's a Whopper! And has some internet issues

Using the laptop at university and it is treating me well. I like the big screen. For some reason, when I am running video games, the internet connectivity appears to lose bars and it craps out... not sure if it is just my router but I'll have to do some more tests with it.

Heavy weight Laptop

Compared to the same size from Toshiba, much heavier product indeed. Looks reliable and easy setup, no issues in the short 2 weeks we had this product. Time is the judge. I bought this product under the impression it is 15 inch.

Excellent Product

I love this product. It is light weight...good keypads...number pad helps too. The laptop features are good too. Overall a good product. Best Buy did not offer any Laptop bag..this was a drawback. The keypads are in French and English...and are crumbled and thus the main keyboard area feels very constricted.

Outstanding Value

Great Laptop, picked it up on sale for $[...], nothing compares to it in that price range. Even if I paid full price I would still be very happy with it. Rock solid Laptop for an outstanding price.

Upgrade the HDD and unleash the potential!

Got it when it was only [...]$ ([...]$ reduction from the actual price), which is VERY good for a laptop with those specs. Unless you're a hardcore gamer, this thing can handle anything you throw at it. The only bad thing about this laptop is the Hard Drive Disk (HDD). It makes almost every action you do slower and I can see why some people will rate it 1 star. Cause yes, you MUST, cause this beauty is SATA III, buy a Solid State Drive (SSD). You can easily change this laptop HDD for an SSD and reinstall windows (if you have the knowledge or know someone with the knowledge to do so). Then you will have the BEST laptop you can get for [...] bucks! That's what I did and my sister was more than impress by the beast hidden in this machine! PS: I wouldn't buy it without buying an SSD too. That would be only a waste of money.

Does what is expected of it and more

It is not the prettiest looking laptop in the market, let's get that out of the way. At first glace it might look ordinary, but the specifications this thing houses are astonishing for the price.sometimes makes me wonder how it might have been possible to fit it all in such a price range...all in all, a good buy, does what you need and more, but again, nothing/no one is perfect so if you have realistic expectation, it wont let you down.
