Best at this price

At first sight you will see just how beautiful this laptop is, but when seen closely you'll surely see some damage on the exterior and some scratches but inside is new AF, I think that they've replaced the old screen keyboard and touchpad with new ones. other than that, this machine is good and can run most of the games but don't expect it to last longer than 1.5-2 hours and this gets hot easily so I'll recommend buying a cooling pad and after using it for a week I can surely say that this is a good refurb but now grade A. The sreen is also below average and you've to tweak it a bit to your suitings as the default colors are too dull and boring looking. Keyboard is backlight which is a nice addition and this weighs around 1.4kgs or 3 pounds which is really light and this thing is really small looking with really good speakers!!?????? It comes in a big white box with the laptop in a plastic airbag kinda thing with dell charger lying outside the plastic airbag. You should also check Pros.-Lightweight, good speakers, compact, backlight keyboard, cheap. Cons.- Dull screen with poor viewing angles, below average battery life, gets a bit hotter than expected. Overall, a good product if you're on a tight budget and want a good machine. Definitely?recommended!

Better Than Expected

This was my first time buying a refurb. I went in knowing it was a gamble but after using it for a month, I am very happy with it. First looking at it, it was obviously a refurb, there was some minor cosmetic damage around the outside, and some very thin scratches on the screen, but nothing that can't come from normal use. Setting it up with windows 10 was quick, but I wasn't really planning on using it often. I installed linux mint on it and it runs like a dream. This thing can boot up, open android studio and an android 7.0 emulator in under a minute compared to around 13 minutes for my old AMD quad core gaming rig. I do have a big issue with using windows 10, scrolling with the touchpad on windows just doesn't work. Sometimes it scrolls a few pixels and sometimes it scrolls the whole page with the same motion. That reasons alone makes me not want to use windows on it. Scrolling with the touchpad on linux is absolutely flawless however, so the problem is probably the Dell touchpad driver. I haven't tested the battery life, but it is sufficient for my needs. I only need it up for 3 hours of note taking, then the battery is usually under half after that. This is a business laptop so I have to bring the charger with me to school. I wouldn't expect this to last more than 2.5 hours on youtube. The keyboard is backlit and comfortable enough to type on. It won't be as comfortable as a mechanical keyboard, but I can type just as fast on it as a regular keyboard. I would definitely recommend getting this laptop for serious use.
