Pretty good PC for the price I got it

NOTE THIS WAS DURING A BEST BUY VIP SALE WHEN IT WENT FOR 999.99 I am about 5 days in with this new computer and it seems to be working fine, it's able to handle games such as Overwatch on the highest settings and though i've read complaints about the fan being too loud, it only seems to turn on when the computer gets too hot, otherwise the computer is as silent as if it were turned off. i've only had one issue with the computer in which when i attempt to turn on a game it gives me an error message that says that there is no disk in Drive D and to please insert one, but this computer does NOT have a D Drive to begin with and there doesn't seem to be any way to resolve this problem, i was able to work around it by suppressing all windows messages but i shouldn't have to do that in the first place. aside from that though the PC works fine, perfect for people who are just getting into computer gaming or someone on a budget, but only buy this when it's on sale, it's definitely not worth it's original 1,499.99 price tag, it would be much cheaper and better to actually build one yourself at that price.

Slow start up, slow locating searches, just plain old slow

I purchased the 8910 with an i-7 processor, 16 GB RAM, and a video card with 2 GB. Considering all, I was ultra surprised at how slow it is. My best advice is to take advantage of the Motherboard and put an M.2 SSD in.

So Far So Good (2 weeks in)

Overall, excellent bang for your buck (when it's on sale). Only issue is the fan which is so loud!

Great Machine -- On Sale

After 24 hours, I've come to love this computer. Lots of power, well equipped (11 USB ports!), blazingly fast. A couple of things kept it from five stars: Some people have been complaining of noisy fans, and I initially had this problem, too--it sounded like an old two-stroke motorcycle. After much investigation under the hood, playing with the chassis fan, the CPU fan, and the the PSU fan, I finally found the reason: an unused power connector was rubbing against the fan in the video card. Once I moved the wire out of the way, the thing was truly quiet, even with all fans blazing. I also think a machine like this, especially at a non-sale price, should come with an SSD. But I got this beast in a one-day sale at one-third off, so I can't really complain. Have always had good luck with Dell, and this is no exception.

Great computer

I just purchased this computer and am very impressed with it so far. Better than the brand new HP I purchase that had imagine issues right out of the box. Was very disappointed as I have purchased HP for my last 4 PC's. I had stayed away from Dell due to issues with Dell computers in my workplace. HOWEVER that was over 10 yrs ago. Dell has definitely improved! I have worked with Lenovo, Dell, HP, Asus (laptops) and Acer. This was a good move. super expandable and fast. had to purchase an adapter so I could run multiple monitors but that's no deal breaker.

A dissappointment. And it is SO LOUD! Not recommended.

The one thing that stands out about this is just how loud this is, at seemingly random times. It is very annoying. The audio seems to be good quality, but with the amount of noise that's always present in the front panel audio its hard to tell. The back panel performs much better but it does not provide enough output to properly drive a headphone. (FWIW, I'm using Sennheiser HD598 headphones). I got this as my first gaming PC, and honestly, other than the fan noise, it does pretty well in that regard, but it is not good value for money. It includes a useless blu-ray drive, for one. I would recommend getting a graphics card with more vram or maybe an SLi motherboard (this one isn't). I would recommend a switch to SSD's as soon as possible too. I am, overall, unimpressed with my purchase, and given the chance, would almost surely go for another model, and probably brand name altogether. Even as I am writing this, the audio jack unplugged itself like 10 times, without me ever doing anything. Part of the blame must go to Windows 10 (Windows 10 is part of this purchase so I have the right to rant about it), which is honestly terrible. Cortana can barely do anything. I can see the vision that Microsoft has, and its pretty, but right now, its a complete mess.

Constant issues

The motherboard went within the first month. Constant software glitches and issues. Luckily this is all covered by the 1 yr warrenty now, but I dont know what I'll do when that runs out

Fan is super loud

Great specs but when I got it home it just screams out of the blue, often not while playing a game or anything.

Great computer

It was delivered in about four days which was a nice surprise. The computer works really well. It's fast and it's capable of running all kinds of demanding tasks. Windows 10 works well. We would definitely recommend this product.

OverPriced

This is literally a scam, a GTX 960 IS NOT CAPABLE of running VR, no SSD, a 960 is outdated. a NEW 1060 is about 80% better then this.

Great

Just recently bought this PC for a great deal and this is amazing! Runs great, it's almost completely silent and it can handle any task easily :) Would definitely recommend it for a sale price... (I don't think it should be worth 1699.99... Buy it if it's on sale)
