Energizer charger doesn't work

With no battery it's output is 8 volts, as soon as you insert battery, dead or half dead, it stops working. My camera uses same battery and it's charger works. My Lenmar PowerPort USB charger also works. The light is a bit too focused on the centre of the frame, wax paper may help. I would give five stars if the charger worked

Useless battery

Not worth it - battery did not charge fully and it ran down quickly - Energiser you could do better!

Very Bright, but Stopped Working...

I picked this guy up in store and was very excited to use it as I thought it would add extra "oomph" to my online review videos. Once mounted, it can move around very easily, but the plastic does feel rather cheap. I feel that with extensive use/movement it would eventually break. The dimmer switch is an awesome feature, even the lowest setting outputs a nice amount of light. The light itself is a nice bright, clean white that never gets hot and the rechargeable battery was a nice touch, although I do feel that's what you're really paying for... On to the cons and my reason for returning... I found it didn't work very well for videos, even with direction and background lighting added, everything but the subject was incredibly dark. The biggest disappointment was no matter how long I charged the battery, the LED only showed one light (which is 0-10% battery life, according to the manual) Within an hour of testing out different lighting positions, the LED instantly shut off (it wasn't even on the brightest setting) and wouldn't turn back on. I charged the battery repeatedly, but nothing. It died. I'm not sure if the one I purchased had been opened and returned before, but it died within four hours of owning it. If you're interested in this for photography or videos, save yourself the hassle and just buy softboxes or umbrella lights. They are way more functional and don't kick the bucket like this did, especially for the price!
