I fix computers for a living, so I had to buy the unlimited devices and so far has cleaned ten laptops/desktops and each time has exceeded my expectations every time Would definitely recommend to anyone who is worried about their computers

Looks like it worked

A little difficult to get it working. Couldn't just plug it in and let it do it's thing. Had to change the boot priority on both my computers so it could start. After that it was very easy. Just sit back and watch it do its thing. It found a malware on my lap top that McAfee didn't. My lap top seems to be working a bit better now. I also feel better knowing that my computers should be Virus free now.

Time to clean House

Today's date is Feb 5/16. I first used the FixMeStick on Jan 15/16. So far, my HP PC laptop with Vista has not self-destructed, so I can only conclude that it has, indeed, worked and that everything is fine. The PC speed is about the same, but I was reassured when the program ran and upon completion, all sorts of unwanted items were removed. This device scanned every program on my laptop, including my own anti-virus program I purchased online [Kaspersky]. I saw a little irony in that, the scanner being scanned. [It passed okay]. It took over 3 hours to scan my laptop, and I don't have games or any extra business files. So start your FixMeStick scan early if you want the results while still awake. The instructions on the flash drive are comprehensible enough. You should know that the FixMeStick is to be treated as a device, like a WiFi printer. So if you use a wireless modem, you have to use your secret password to allow the FixMeStick to sync with your computer. That's all. Good luck. Hope it works as well for you.

Works but read notes

I had a windows 8.1 system that had been infected by one of those virus that kept directing you to a website which provided a solution. It also had disabled the antivirus on the machine and rendered the DNS inoperative. I used the FIXME stick as directed and it resolved most of the problems on the first pass. I still had some DNS issues but I found a hint in their notes (on the stick) that provided a means to resolve the issue. Also when I reinstalled the antivirus product on the machine I found an additional 40+ that the FIXME product had missed. I also thought to try it on a MAC Mini with nonstandard keyboard. Here they are dependent on an alter boot scheme which doesn't seem to work on the current release. I haven't determined if that is a keyboard issue or a release issue as yet. I used their technical support via email but had resolved the DNS issue before they got back to me.
