I bought this for my travel to BC. It was helping me so much and I felt confident to use it.

Wrong turns

This is our first GPS. Before leaving home, I sat in the driveway and figured out how to input the address to which we were going. The GPS accurately directed us to Wonderland Road, heading south to the 401, which we already knew how to do. Half way to the 401, it started telling us to turn right on Pine Valley. Now, we've lived here nearly 20 years and knew that was wrong. We kept it plugged in as we headed to the South Shore of Montreal. The GPS wanted to take us through the city and across the Bridge. We knew Highway 30 would avoid the traffic/congestion of the city and took that. It took the GPS about 15 minutes to find us again. Arriving in NS, it told us to turn left off the highway about 10 km. ahead of our road. So all in all, I find this to be like an outdated map - it's a guide, just don't believe it and it really helps to know where you are going. To my mind, that defeats the purpose of having a gps

Life saving . . .

This is 1000X better than my last gps that tried to send me off a bridge. so I let it go off the bridge alone. this one is very accurate, and half as annoying as the last one. if this one fries, I would gladly buy another.
