I'm pleased to tell that Best Buy has a good reture policy-defective or you don't like it easy to reture even they don't ask ? I happy that I bought touchscreen all in one computer from them and running well. Thanks
Pros: fast, high resolution, awesome speakers.
Cons: ports difficult to access on bottom of computer
I am pleased to report that Best Buy provided a no hassle exchange for the defective monitor.
I plugged the machine in and there was a problem with the display. There were lines and defective pixels.
I will take it back to the store tonight for an exchange or refund - I will let you know if they give me a hassel with exchange/return
I didn't get a change to assess the features or performance because as soon as I saw the display problems, I turned it off and packed it up for return to the store
Love it. Does the job perfectly.
I definitely like the fresh look and feel, large screen and really exceeded my expectation. I might come back for one or two more.
I've had the computer for less than only two weeks now, but I do like it very much. It performs smoothly and has a very clear image. It is my first time with wireless keyboard and mouse....as well as touch screen (the latter which I must admit I hardly ever use). It is nice to have a desk clear of a mess of tangled wires.
If this computer continues to perform as it has so far, I shall be very happy.
The Geek Squad are great guys too!
I'm an older guy and fortunately live just up the street from Best Buy!
As a retired English teacher and former monk -- an ecclesiastical philosopher and literary scholar.....and an author/poet I appreciate this new equipment.
I recently purchased this desktop PC and so far I am enjoying every minute of it and doesn't give me any hassle.
Highly recommended !!!!
I purchased the equal to this back in 2013 (an HP Envy Touchsmart 23"). It was used little over the three years. Last week, when starting up it started to display the message reading "Critical error/your start menu isn't working. We'll try to fix it next time you sign in". After several attempts of power off and restart, hoping the fix would happen, the my HP simply stopped responding to the power on switch. The power on switch would light up indicating that the power was on, but the screen would not light up or indicate activity.
A reliable local computer repair shop has tried to find a fix to my computer but they could not. Best Buy, where I purchased the computer, could not assess the problem locally - they could only arrange to send it to somewhere in BC, for an assessment that would take 2 to 6 weeks
am loving the large monitor; only drawback is it keeps disconnecting from the internet for some unknown reason and I need to reboot; also like the large memory for playing games
Nice set up, but is too slow
As I Suspected from the description a great coomputer
I love this all-in-one computer. The design is fantastic, love the huge monitor and the color is beautiful! It has a fast start-up which a great. The only thing I don't like is that the USB plug ins are on the bottom and you can't see them and have to feel around to insert the USB. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to others.
So happy with my new 2 in 1 computer. It is fast and beautiful to look at on my desk. The monitor has beautiful color and I enjoy the large size. My son set it up for me and it was so easy for him to transfer my files from my laptop. I am not happy that the USB ports are on the bottom of the monitor and you need to feel around to find where to place the USB key but I will get used to that. I am very happy with it.
I love this computer. It's elegant, powerful and fast. Had it for3 weeks now with no issues. Only drawback for me is the location of the USB plugs, not the easiest to reach, it would have been better if they were placed on the side instead of bottom and back. The other issue is the inability to transfer files and create a home network between this new PC which uses Windows 10 and my laptop which uses Windows 7. But that's a Microsoft issue. All in all it's a great machine.
I bought it on 26 and got it on yesterday, thank for Distribution, very fast. This is really bigger than I thought, good because I don't need to buy a smart TV .work well with microphone, camera , hard drive and printer. I bought it for study so I did not install any game on it, office 2016 and Photoshop starts still fast , maybe I need to wait several days.
This desktop has some anti-humanity design, the position of USB and ear phone jack .
This is the best ever I had. Speed, Memory & Hard Drive!
I purchased this computer in December 2015 for work-related purposes. as economy HP notebook didn't meet the technical requirements. I can't say enough good things about it; this is a truly cutting edge machine and the all-in-one concept is head & shoulders above anything tied to a hard drive tower or ultra-thin notebooks. I don't use the touch screen feature out of concern for keeping the display area clean but that could be a bonus for people who've become accustomed to tablets and other tactile navigation hardware.
1. The computer came without the dongle...so I couldn't use the mouse or keyboard. Had to spend much time..45 minutes on phone...getting replacement.
2. After two weeks of light use...ie two hours, mostly downloading word etc, I played a PC game on it. The computer 'blew' and power was gone, permanently. Spent much time on phone, packing it up, shipping it off etc. They are going to fix it, but they can't fix my first impressions of my first and last HP computer experience. 3. I realized my new $200 Dragonspeak disc was in the computer...no power to get it out, so I phoned to make sure I got it back. I was told, 'you only were to send the computer. You won't be getting back any assessories.' I blew a fuse and had to plead with them to give me back my own property. He had to talk with the supervisor. Really? Not impressed.
I have had this machine for about two weeks and find it an excellent choice. The setup was as easy as advertised, and the look is sleek. Performance wise this is a great machine. It is fast, has good memory space and all the functions I want. Setting up a home group to access files on my existing computers and the drop box feature was remarkably easy. On the downside: I am not a fan of the mouse / keyboard but that likely has more to do with me being used to a high end Logitech set than anything else. Price wise this is not a cheap machine, but you do get what you pay for and for me the price was worth the quality.
Had mine about a month, simply no issues whatsoever so far. The most elegant and efficient of the all-in-one designs I've seen. B&O speakers fantastic, just don't try and drive too much bass through them.
I've had the HP 23" Touchscreen All in One PC for just over a couple weeks now and love it. It works perfectly for everything I do on it. I'm not a PC gamer so it gets the standard PC work load (music, internet, work and other media). Windows 10 has lots of awesome features and things I'm still trying to learn and figure out. Only knock I have is the mouse that comes with it has an annoying click and feels a little cheap, might end up replacing that and the keyboard with a better option.
Love my new All in One!
