amazing speed and compact design

have been using it for a month highly impressed with the startup speed and overall performance of this laptop. Design is awesome as it has tablet mode. just the SSD should have been a bit more as its only 128GB. Great price and Great Performance

Great Laptop

Good Laptop, but a bit heavy for a tablet.

Easiest and fastest Laptop yet

This PC was the easiest I have had to set up and get running....A very easy and intuitive process.... And the computer is super fast to boot-up... I had previously been a Dell client but no more....

Only had it for 2 days but...

.... love it so far. The SSD is so fast -- Windows 10 booted from cold start in about 5 seconds. The display is beautiful -- videos look rich. Not too much glare on screen. Easy to set up. Some bloatware, but what laptop doesn't come with that -- easy to remove most of it.

Great laptop

Good size, weight and specs. Start up is quick. Resolution is good. Screen size is about right. Not too big that it's hard to carry on the go and not too small that it's uncomfortable to watch a long film. This is a great laptop for every day use.

Cheaper Spectre on a Fatty Diet

It is heavier and thicker than Spectre x360 with no Thunderbolt but has the same specification and a sexy black keyboard. Beware of the awkward charging location!

Responsive, Functional and Economical laptop

Bought it when it was on sale. Very responsible and fast with intel i5. Could use the handwriting function with the touch screen. With zoom on touch screen, an 13in screen could nearly as good as an 15in screen for viewing. It has only 128GB SSD on board and is on the low side. An external 128GB USB flash drive is added to increase the overall storage. Overall I would highly recommend this model on its responsive, functional and economical aspects.

HP still makes the best everyday average user consumer product

Been using it for over a 1.5 months now, above avg performance for everyday tasks (youtube, netflix, live sports streaming, etc.) Pros - build quality, convertible design, CPU responsiveness, IPS screen Cons - a bit of fan noise, battery life could be longer, no backlit keyboard

Great laptop

This is the ideal laptop. Bigger than a tablet and smaller than a regular 15.6 laptop. Great screen resolution, responsive keyboard and touchpad and solid state hard drive is quick to respond. Couldn't ask for more in a laptop.

My first Pavillion

Have just had my Silver Pavilion laptop for a week so have not tested many features yet. Pleased with start up speed, screen clarity and layout but have a couple of observations to share. I find that scrolling on the touch screen seems to switch to mouse only at times. Perhaps a setting Geek Squad can assist me with. The other issue might be partly my fault. I tend to hover near touch pad with left hand fingers and may be the reason my screen zooms erratically between 50 to 300 which is annoying. Can't seem to be able to turn off Pinch feature which may help. Other than that I am happy happy happy.

Pros: - Fast boot up time - Fast shut down time - Fast overall Cons: - Lid opening not practical.

Great Laptop

The HP Pavilion 2 in 1 laptop is light and compact. It very fast having a SSD hard drive - boots up in 6 seconds! At 128GB, the storage capacity may be low for some users. I chose this laptop instead of a tablet because it has USB and HDMI outlets and SD card reader. I bought a external DVD drive to run legacy software such as Quicken 2000 and Office 2003. Windows 10 comes installed and is easy to use. Screen is very crisp and great colours. Great for watching Netflix in bed. It has HP software that keeps the system up to date and very convenient. There is a lot of bloat software and this would be taking up some of the HDD storage.

Pretty Good

Excellent product, weight, processor speed, with the exception of the hard drive space 128 GB

Great machine

For the price this machine is fantastic! Very responsive. The flip and touchscreen capabilities are actually more useful than I thought they would be. This is no spectre though. It is plastic but looks great. Not the thinnest but not bad at all. Screen could be brighter.

Fast Computer

I have used it for about 2 weeks. This computer is fast, however, it froze once after I pressed the power button to put it to sleep, then it never woke up. Have to hold the power button to restart it. So far, I am satisfied with this purchase.

Seemed good when I got it

I bought this on sale and thought it was a great deal. The processor is nice. The touchpad is flawed and the cursor gets messed up really easily. The screen flickers. Especially when turning it into tablet mode. HP did not make this work well with windows 10. The drivers are terrible, its almost unusable.

Great laptop

This is the ideal laptop. Bigger screen than a tablet but much more compact than a standard 15.6 inch laptop. Laptop is fast and responsive on start up as well as standard tasks like web surfing and multi-tasking several programs. The hard drive is a bit small at 128GB but I've never needed a big hard drive. I keep a lot of stuff on my portable hard drive and just transfer to this laptop when needed.

Not as good as it looks

Bought it during Black Friday...also bought a Dell from Microsoft Store directly. Returned the HP and kept the Dell. Pros: - beautiful sleek design - light weight - good startup speed given SSD Cons: - touchscreen sensitive - 128GB not enough. You actually only get 100GB as the rest is taken up with 'mandatory Windows stuff' - software erratic...was working fine for 3 days and then it looked like someone had access to the laptop. Could not use it. - keypad not comfortable. Keys are too slippery / sensitive - same with track-pad - lighting not great on screen - no backlight for keypad Why did I keep the Dell? - 1 TB of drive. Yes...it is not SSD, but the difference in speed is fine - better screen - backlight for keypads - RAM, Core I5, all the same - smoother keypad and trackpad - cheaper! Paid 6 4 9 plus tax vs 6 9 9

Very nice laptop

I bought this laptop mainly for school use. The processor speed is very high compared to others, you can do some research on CPU Benchmarks website. Anyway, I'm very satisfied with the processing speed of this laptop. Also, the quality of screen resolution is awesome. If you watch videos on it, you'll get a very nice viewing experience. I haven't tried many other functions on this laptop but I know that it will last for years if you take a good care of it. It weighs about 2 kg and has a screen size of 13.3". I can fit it well in my backpack and carry it along with ease.

Highly recommend

I purchased an Acer for my daughter that actually had a 1tb hard drive and similar specs to this hp laptop. We returned the Acer and picked this laptop up. The speed and load up is night and day. Im very happy with this laptop and if my other laptop needed replacement Id buy another one of these. Well worth the price.

Great for the Price

In my opinion this computer is really good for the price. The internals are very good. Great for editing and school. the only problem is that the laptop looks pretty ugly
