Overview

Doing a multi-car road trip to Halifax sounded like a good idea at first. But then you lost Jerry, who was leading the way, in traffic. A few wrong turns later, you finally use your Jabra Extreme 2 bluetooth headset to call for directions. Noise Blackout 3.0 and HD Voice technology give you a clear connection that gets you back on the right path in no time.

More Information

It only took one truck to come between you and Jerry's car, but it was enough for you to lose him completely. You figured you had enough people in your car that would know how to get to Halifax, but after too many "No, not that right! THAT right!" and a wayward moose in the middle of the road later, you realize it's time to call for help.
  • The Jabra Extreme 2 headset uses Noise Blackout 3.0 to block out an astonishing amount of background noise and HD voice technology to allow you to hear the other person's voice with unbelievable clarity. These technologies let you get clear directions from Jerry while blocking out everyone else's well-intentioned, but misguided navigational advice.
  • Automatic Volume control instantly adjusts the headset's volume to best suit your environment, so Jerry's voice will get louder without you needing to take your hands off the wheel to adjust the volume.
  • Another bout of traffic means that you fall further behind where Jerry's stopped to wait for all of you. Luckily, the Extreme 2 has 5.5 hours of talk time and 10.5 days of standby time, so you can keep calling him even if it takes all night.
  • The Ultimate-fit Eargels mold to the shape of your ear and make the Extreme 2 super comfortable to wear, so you almost forget you've even got it on. That is until another moose forces you to take a detour and it's time to call Jerry again.
  • When you're finally on the right track, everyone starts to chill out to their own music and handheld video games. You've got the Extreme 2 connected to your MP3 player (it can connect to up to two Bluetooth devices) and you use it to listen to a podcast on the Halifax food scene.
  • Once you've caught up to Jerry, Amanda - who was sitting in his car and is a Halifax native - volunteers to be your co-pilot. You're more than happy to have her, but hand her the Extreme 2 just in case you need to bug Jerry for anything. With the integrated Voice Guidance, the Extreme 2 tells Amanda everything she needs to know from pairing it with devices to how much battery it has left.

Awesome Product Jabra Extreme2

I have had this product for 3 years and I am happy with its performance. Very comfortable with the clip on, can't fit my ear without it however, buds alone are too big. Noise cancellation is awesome. So comfortable that I forget I have it on sometimes. I've been through a few Bluetooths, but this is my best thus far.

Good BT, has A2DP, easy setup w/IOS

Very good Bluetooth unit, easy to setup with my iPhone 5S; without looking at instructions, it was unpackaged, powered up and paired in ~15 secs total. Very light - almost don't notice it when it is in the ear. Comes with a couple of earpieces and earhooks. Inner-ear piece is somewhat big - if you have a SMALL ear canal, this may end up being uncomfortable for you after an hour or so. Mine appears to be average, I can have the headset in for several hours before it starts to bother me. Voice sound is good, clear on my end. Wife says the sound was great on her end both when in a variety of loud environments and quiet. I was in vehicle, in noisy hockey rink and other loud areas - noise cancellation/isolation worked pretty well. In quieter office area, it is near perfect. Despite the Bestbuy site not listing it as a feature, it does support A2DP so you can stream audio. Works great for podcasts & audiobooks but it doesn't contain the highs/lows or volume for music. There are better (more expensive) options if music is one of your intended uses, otherwise, give this a shot - it works very well. Paired to my laptop and used it with Skype as well. Clear as a bell. Best part of my Skype connection. Two weeks after buying, have to go back for another as I have lost the first. Buying a second, so that is the best endorsement you could hope for.

Lost Hope!

I've always been a supporter of Jabra and I had a Jabra for a 3 years which broke. I bought this thinking its going to be my headset for the next couple of years and it was for... and I usually associate price with quality. Boy, was I let down. bought one, my gf had a hard time hearing me and sounds like "I'm in an elevator" or its constantly breaking up. had no issue with connectivity, it was all poor call quality. noise cancellation worked for the most part but i was in a dead silent room and the person on the other side will here noise in the background.. so I exchanged it for another unit, same model....same issue with call quality. I will go exchange it and possibly invest in a Plantronics marquee 2

Poor performance

Simple operation. Easy to connect. However, only 20% of the people I called could hear me. If they could hear me it kept breaking up. I also had issues with the connect button. Because the headset kept falling out, in order put back in I kept pressing the disconnect button. A bit annoying. Will be returned right away.

Very uncomfortable

The extreme2 works well with noise cancelling. But it is very uncomfortable. I tried it for a few days. It always hurt my ears after a few minutes. The ear pieces are just too big. Also it would not stay in the ear without the clip. The receiving sound quality was ok but people said my voice was muffled on the other end but not too much. Also had some issues connecting with the phone. It froze my phone a few times and I had to restart my phone, after connecting to this. Returning it tomorrow.

Love it

IT IS SUCH A BLESSING. LUV THE SLEEKNESS OF IT. CRYSTAL CLEAR VOLUME. I ALWAYS BUY JABRA BLUETOOTH. IT IS SO SMALL AND COMPACT. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
