Just do not buy, sound performace is terrible.

I am using it for a year. In 95% the other side barely understand my speech. Looks like the noise reduction chops sound and transmits middle of the words. I totally disappointed with Jabra and will never buy their product again.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I bought this primarily for (1) speaker for cell calls + GPS apps, (2) playing my iTunes library to my car speakers (older car no b/t or usb), (3) handsfree controls … in that priority order. I've been using for ~1 month. Have never had any issues with bluetooth sync to my cell, flawless. Speaker & mic for calls (and apps) works excellent, is clear. I can finally hear my library on my awesome car speakers via FM instead of fiddling with CDs! Device is much smaller than I thought, small physical footprint. The handsfree control part didn't really work well for me (basic things like answer, end call, next track not bad, but recognizing address book was poor). This isn't a huge pri for me otherwise I'd rate the product a 4. I still don't really have Siri working well on it's own or ie. the Waze verbal commands. Another reviewer mentioned having to pay for a subscription - there is no such extra cost or app afaik. Had some issues with audio from Waze GPS app being sent to Jabra (but that was the app). Google maps never had an issue & Waze now behaving nicely. In fact, if playing music library via FM + using GPS, the GPS volume will rise (music lower) temporarily so that hearing the directions take priority. Charge seems to last awhile. I'm using it ~1hr/day or so, only had to charge it once so far.

Jabra Freeway

The speakerphone synced flawlessly. Sound quality was great. Second time I got in my car and turned it on it synced to my phone. But it didn't. It told me it did. Very confusing operating as if you were connected and you weren't. Voice commands didn't work. Never got one name right when I tried to call. Getting the unit to understand the word battery was a task that ultimately failed. I wouldn't recommend this unit to anyone. I should have read the reviews first.

Not Very Good At All

This was not a very good Bluetooth. Right from the beginning it breaks up and no one could hear me. Also, the app to go along with it costs [$price] and you have to buy a subscription to get all of the perks. I am not ok with that. I will be getting something else. Definitely will not try this company again either.

Makes calling in the car easy

Makes calling in the car easy. Sound quality is good and people can hear me fine. My husband can also connect his phone to it as well. Very satisfied with this bluetooth, great product.

Good value

I purchased this during the Boxing Day sale back in December, so only paid $[...] for it compared to the regular price it is now selling at. I have used it for 3 months now and like the convenience of it instead of having an ear piece. It gives me the flexibility to answer the call or not. I have used the voice commands as well without any problems. The only thing is that if you are calling a new phone number, you have to do it from your phone but it connects. I did find that when the weather was really cold, I had connection issues as it took a long time to recognize the cell phone. Also on a plus side, it keeps its charge for a long time and lets you know when the battery is low. It is a good product but would not pay full price for it, wait until it is on sale.

Great product

All of the functionality is great. If I could improve it, I'd make the frequency for FM transmission configurable.

Works as advertised

All in all works pretty good. Has trouble automatically connecting once in a while but it is easily rectified.

Review of Jabra Freeway Speakerphone

I am not too impressed so far with this product, hence my rating it a 2 for the performance. So far I have not yet been able to get the speakerphone to understand the commands, despite the instructions. For example, it does not yet seem to be in sync with my cell phone and sometimes will play music instead of calling a number which I request. So it has been frustrating and I plan on checking at Best Buy with a representative to see what I may be doing wrong OR if the speakerphone is defective.

Good product with promotion price

I used 2 week so far, don't have any big problem. connection is good, battery life is good, voice is good(bad when it's maximum volume). The only bad part I found is voice command. it won't follow my voice command, so I used button.

Best Bluetooth Speaker Phone I've Used.

It seems size is everything. This is probably the largest speakerphone you can buy but it works really well. Compared to the two other ones I've owned, I'm told by the folks on the other end that it gives the clearest reception. Also , the large size means the buttons are easy hit while you're on the road. The speaker is also really loud, which is good in a noisy vehicle. I'd recommend it. I had trouble getting a BT connection with my other Jabra, but this one connected right up - might just have been luck.

Does the job

I needed a hands-free device for my van and bought this on sale Boxing Day. The speaker is quite loud, but you can turn it down. I've been told that I sound clear on the other end and haven't had any issues with it. Regular price is too much - definitely wait for a sale.

Not impressed

Bought 2 on boxing day and returned both. Although they were easy to pair to our phones; they didn't work well, voice command was quirky - said battery; and it went to call. spend 2 weeks trying to get them to work and finally gave up

Nice product

Pretty good product for the price. I find the speaker is not very loud in my truck but as good or better than other product I've tried.

It works well.

It works well for phone calls. Very loud for a relatively small device, in fact my daughter complained that it was too loud when I first got it while she was sitting in the backseat. Tested the FM transmitter function and it works but I have a aux in on my car stereo so I don't use it. Have not tried the voice commands available with the unit but find that the Bluetooth works pretty well with Siri. Other Bluetooth devices that I have tried do not work well with Siri. I would recommend it to a friend.

Jabra Freeway Speakerphone

Bought last year on boxing day. Most of the time does not understand commands. Phone call quality is bad. Speaker itself is good volume, and has an FM transmit function. However transmit function in my car works only at 106.3FM nothing else. Lasts for about 8-10 hours. I would not recommend it to anyone unless you want just a speaker functionality. Myself looking for a better option.

Good Speakerphone

I bought this bluetooth speaker phone on sale. It has fm transmitter that is pretty cool. Voice commands some time u have to repeat the command but not all the time depends on the noise outside. The voice is very clear. It disconnects when u leave the car and reconnects When you get back into your car not perfect but close enough. I looked at a lot of different devices and this was the best one. It even has three speaker virtual surround sound. Yes I would recommend to any one that wants a good speaker phone.

Excellent

Recently I have used this device as well as the BlueAnt S4. The Jabra Freeway blows the BlueAnt out of the water. The speaker sounds great. I bought it on sale and after using it I would paid full price. I have an Iphone 5 they are a good pair. I have no problems with it connecting or disconnecting when I leave the vehicle. It Reads my text messages back loud and clear. One of the features I like the best is the fm. When your travelling and can't tune in a radio station. I run internet radio though to my vehicles sound system and its like I'm still listening the radio. If you are considering something like a this bluetooth Speaker give this one a try for yourself that's what I did. You'll know in a couple of weeks whether you like it or not. It has the best speaker by far. If sound matters you won't like the other products in the same category. It my not be totally hand free but all you have to do is reach up and touch the talk button. The BlueAnt says its totally hands free but I ended up touching the button on that as well because it would turn this feature off all the time to save power. The BlueAnt would constantly didn't deliver the text message (1 out of 5 would get sent). The Jabra Freeway is the superior speaker. Like I said try if you don't like take it back. I bought the blueAnt first and took it back and I have been very happy so far with the Jabra. Not comparison in the price category.

Horrible device

Bought this when it was on sale tried it out for about two weeks then returned it back it's garbage specially if you Live in a house this is not going to work for you when you leave the car it will not disconnect from your mobile phone so it will drain your battery and all the calls and text messages will go to this the the phone has to be quiet for from this device to automatically disconnect otherwise you have to manually turn on and off the Bluetooth on your phone every time you entered and exited the vehicle which I believe nobody could do that. Also voice command on this device is horrible it will not understand what you're saying

Disappointed

For a top of the line hands free I was extremely disappointed with this unit. Although easy to set up, the voice recognition is sketchy and often connects to the wrong contact. Also the receiver has a hard time hearing me unless I am talking directly into the unit, so conversation is lost when shoulder checking etc. The best feature is the ability to connect to the FM which I use for streaming music into the car stereo. Not recommended

Solid Product

Bought on Sale [...] over a year ago (weathered both Ottawa extreme summer heat and winter cold without issue)...Good, solid product. Setup was remarkably easy. Can connect both my Blackberry and my wife's iPhone simultaneously while traveling together. Get the odd glitch requiring me to repeat a command. Slight annoyance at best. Nothing worth getting upset over. Battery time is remarkably long. Great for someone who does not want to worry about constantly charging devices. Have not needed to use the "voice assist" other reviews refer to... Money well spent for ease of use and handsfree piece of mind on the road...

Terrible product

If all you need is a speaker, then the audio quality for this product is actually very good. If you want to use any of the voice recognition advertised on the box, look somewhere else, as it just doesn't work, but relies on either your cellphone's voice control functionality or a 3rd-party subscription service called VoiceAssist. If something goes wrong, customer support is virtually non-existant (email only). Save your money and try something else.

Major Disappointment

The high sound quality and cheerful voice prompts hide the fact that this device is extraordinarily user-unfriendly, and is incapable of downloading your iPhone's contacts directly to the unit (as other, far less expensive, units all do). The device relies on your iphone's "voice control" to access your contacts by way of an additional, cumbersome jabra command. This only results in rerouting your voice command through to the iphone, which fails almost all the time! Stay away and purchase any one of this unit's competitors at a far lower price!
