Somewhat Disappointment

I was really pumped up to get this unit. The sound bar is EXCELLENT for sound. However, I'm not too impressed with the floor woofer, it doesn't put out much power and certainly not the deep lows people are talking about.

Mostly good

I didn't have the problems others have had, yay. The sound quality is good for the money, better than the others I tried. I like being able to DIAL in the base I want but the volume increments are too extreme. It can jump from too quiet to too loud. I'm keeping it so I guess I like it.

Soundbar vs theatre srdsnd

We had a theatre surround sound system that constantly had wiring issues. This Soundbar with wireless subwoofer was ideal for our living room. My wife also was pleased that we eliminated 98 percent of the wires that were hung around the room. The sound clarity is awesome, with no perceptible distortion problems. Our first klipsch product and we are impressed.

Completes my living room setup

I need to factor in that I bought this unit at a great price. The setup was simple, hooked up to my new Samsung LED using a Monster optical cable I purchased at another great price from an overstock store (I wouldn't pay full price for Monster cables)...sounds great and automatically recognized my Rogers remote volume controls without any setup. Living room doesn't have space for a full blown audio system, but this is an excellent substitute to complete my new A/V setup.

Great sound system

Overall I'm happy with the sound bar. I picked it up on sale. It's simple to hook up, great sound quality and its loud. Although I had a problem with the A/C power adapter and had to return it. My brother bought the same unit and had problems with the power adapter as well. Except for the adapter issue it's been a great system

Great Sound

This sound bar provides a great alternative to an entire surround sound system. The sound is very clear and can handle loud volume without distortion. Perfect for medium to large rooms where you need the sound to carry.

Klipsch Sound Bar & Subwoofer

Purchased this set after hearing it in store. I also liked the JBL sound bar but disliked the appearance of the Darth Vader helmet subwoofer. The Klipsch not only looks awesome, but sounds much better than any "home theatre in a box" set up. The clarity is awesome from the 40 inch soundbar and the adjustable sub throws quite a punch. The whole house rocks. I also feel that this is a better value than the overpriced Bose. If you are on the fence, check out the excellent reviews

I went from the Sony HTCT260 sound bar to this sound bar, and what a difference. Klipsch sound bar makes watching a movie or playing ps3 that much enjoyable. I like the bass, loving it so far.

Great Sound Great Simplicity

I purchaed this soundbar and replaced my Klipsch Heresy II, Klipsch Reference Centre and Surround speakers and a Klipsch sw10 sub woofer mated to a Sony 7.1 channel receiver. Although the sound is not quite the same the quality is quite acceptable when you consider I got a rid of a whole bunch of wires and simplified my home theater operation and experience. Yes!! No engineering degree needed here now to enjoy my 55" big screen. Thanks Klipsch!

Most troublesome piece of electronics ever

First unit would not power up Second unit had defective power supply. When a new power supply was furnished, the subwoofer would not connect with the base station. Yes - I am taking it back. I don't trust it at all. If the sound quality had been better, I might have given it another chance. No - I would not recommend this unit.

the Best unit for what it is

We needed a simpler solution to the 7.1 system and 4 acres of wires involved, this unit fits that to a t. Tried Harmon units, the Sharp, Sony, Samsung versions were more flash and gimmick than good . Bluetooth connectivity is fine, this did not add that feature at all, instead put the money into sound quality. I was not thrilled with the out put from my PS3 watching Avatar thought it could have been a lot louder, I installed an ipod/ipad adapter to it and pow, like water to a thirsty man I was relieved. It works great. I was set to return it, the sound is perfect I love it to death. Huge bonus us the rats nest of wiring behind my stand has disappeared. yay... great xmas gift thanks to my wife I will enjoy this unit for a few years.
