Dead in less than 6 months

Wow. This exact laptop just died on me after less than 6 months of very very light use. Since I still have a working laptop I purchased in 2002, I must assume that Lenovo build quality is just a little lacking. A strong do not buy recommendation on this one.

Be weary when buying this laptop. The super high resolution causes some software to compress the graphics to the point where squinting is useless. There are some online solutions that require some computer knowledge though. After solving those issues, and swapping the wireless card out for a Duo-band 5 GHZ one (about a 40 dollar fix) this laptop is one mean machine.

Best Laptop Ever!

Had this model for over 6 months and greatly impressed. Smooth startup and fast, even after 6 months. Battery life is great, over 4 hours on a full charge with continual use. Windows 8 runs smooth and quick. Lots of interactive Lenovo apps and great touchscreen responses. Love the tablet feature, so great for reading and relaxing in bed. Easy smooth transition between different modes. The keyboard is locked off when in tablet mode and never had a issue with it. Would recommend this for everyone.

Best notebook I have owned

Had the Yoga 2 over 4 months now. Absolutely the best notebook I have owned and I have had quite a few. I have the I7 version with 8GB and 256GB SSD. It is lightning fast and boots in 5 seconds. Screen is very good and it has withstood travel well. I would not hesitate to recommend this to a business traveler who needs a compact, light well built computer for travel.

Great Ultrabook

In my opinion, worth every penny. The screen is beautiful, the laptop already comes with all the updates and the wifi really isn't as bad as everyone says it is. It does drop occasionally (once every few days) but switching airplane mode on and off with the f7 button fixes it in a matter of seconds. It multitasks very well and can handle light gaming too. I also havent seen any defects in the product except for some slight light bleed in the middle of the bottom edge of the screen. Overall I'd say that this is the best ultrabook for it's price range. you get the i7, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD at such a low price, and the screen is just amazing.

You would think this was a good Ultra book having the ability to flip into a tablet and to move into different positions. At first it is ok but the Touch Recognitions software is horrible. The Frame feels poorly made and lags a lot. Worse Laptop ever bought.
