  • ULTRA Luminance Plus extends the TV's range of brightness and overall contrast ratio, making the 4K images even sharper and clearer. If you thought 4K was awesome already, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Other features you'll love

  • The simplified “Picture-on-Glass” design has the OLED module applied directly to the glass back panel to bring you an amazingly thin profile no thicker than a pencil at its thinnest point.
  • This LG TV sports several different connectivity options so you can enjoy a whole lot more on the big screen than just movies and TV shows. It includes built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, 4 HDMI inputs, 3 USB media ports, an Ethernet port, optical digital audio output, and PC audio input.

Horrible for watching Hockey

If you want the best 3D experience, buy this TV. The passive 3D is amazingly clear with this LG model. Unfortunately if your watch hockey, the TV is horrible. I experienced banding, white horizontal flashing strobe light effect when watching hockey. This TV cannot handle fast paced camera movements on white ice surface. The latest firmware or picture mode settings could not solve the issue. 4K is amazing on this TV, with the little 4K content available right now. If your not a fast action sports fan, then this TV is for you.

Horrible for watching hockey!

If you don't watch fast paced sports and want the best 3D experience, then buy this tv. If your a hockey fan, stay away. I experienced banding of white horizontal camera like flashes all over screen when watching hockey. Could not be fixed with current firmware or picture mode settings. What little 4k content there is, it was lifelike.

Excellent TV!

I bought this as an upgrade to a 10 year old Kuro which I have. The blacks are even better, and even pitch black when given the content. So there is definitely more contrast in all viewing conditions whether in a dark or bright room. The 3D is also spectacular with the 4K compared to a 1080p TV which will only give one half that resolution, but with the 4K one gets a natural looking image with no horizontal lines like on does get on a 1080p passive TV. Like a plasma, and unlike a LED TV, one gets excellent contrast and colour saturation no matter where one is in a room so it doesn't matter how off angle one is the image looks great. I'm still learning about this tv, but I was surprise to see that there is a tv feature that when set reminds one of a program one want to watch so even if one has turned off the tv the tv will turn back on when the program starts. The remote can also be turned into an universal control. All in all I'm very happy with this tv.

easy set up

I've had this TV now since Black Friday and I have enjoyed the deep blacks and full 3D images that this TV gives with 4K. I noticed though that 3D is evidently absent from the 2017 LG OLED models so one may want to purchase one of these 2016 models if this is something one wants. This TV replaces my 2007 Pioneer Kuro TV which still works fine, but I was looking to try an OLED TV and experience its great blacks and 3D capabilities. So far I have had no issues with it. It is much like a plasma in that colours and contrast are great no matter where one is viewing it from, though this TV surpasses my plasma or even my small LCD TV in a bright or dark room with its perfect blacks.

Screen Dead Pixel, Banding & Sound popping/sync Issue's

FYI: I have bought both E6 sizes, first I had the 55 then switch it for this 65 inch, bigger is better. Both times I have experienced the same issue of the screen showing "banding" and 1 or 2 dead pixels on the Blue/red/green and white. Also the Sound being out of sync and random popping from the speakers. This OLED is to replace my pioneer Kuro from 2007. All accessories (Bell Sat. box, and PC) attached using rocketfish HDMI 2.0a cables to the Kuro went to this TV and the Kuro never had any of these issues. It can't be bad luck of getting a defective set as both times I had the same issue's. I may return and wait for the E7 with Atmos and better near blacks. See my posts that show the screenshots on the AVS forums, along with alot of other peoples reviews on these issues. That site is a great read on these OLED TV's I recommend researching before buying. 3D is amazing on these TV's, you just need to be at the same viewing level as the screen so you don't get ghosting.

LG OLED

Before I purchased this tv, I was shopping for one for a few months. I checked websites and saw comparison's with Samsung uhd vs Oled or LG super Uhd. Everytime I saw the OLED it blew all of the competition away. I am so glad I made the leap to buy this Gorgeous tv. The picture is unbelievable. TV is also 3D compatible which is nice to have. Web OS is a breeze to use. If your in the market looking for the best tv for the Buck look no further you will not be disappointed.

Stunning for video games as well

For those wondering if this tv is a good choice for 4k/hdr gaming, it really really is. Tthere was a previous issue with input lag that has been addressed by LG. Response times across the board are good now, coming in at a respectable 34ms even for HDR mode (you'll need patch 04.30.19 installed to get that time for HDR). While I've been gaming for the past couple years on a lcd and enjoying the fantastic response times offered there (low 20s on a Samsung), I cannot notice a difference between that TV and this one, even on twitch games. Needless to say I do all my gaming now on this set after seeing the difference in picture quality. The only issue I have with this TV is now finding the time to rewatch all my old favourite movies and play through my favourite games again on this set. A little dramatic sure - but It's really is like I never really watched TV until now.

If you live in front of the TV, well worth it

I sat on the fence over this purchase - it's a big price for me. I took the plunge and I have absolutely no regrets. Absolutely tremendous picture. Regular HD TV looks great, but 4K content is unbelievable. I took in some of the Netflix 4K content and the picture is truly breathtaking. I played around with some of the video settings, but pretty much left it at factory default, choosing instead to use one of the preset picture modes (I settled on Cinema for now.) The sound is very good as well - enough bass - not as good as a full sound system obviously - but still quite good compared to most flat screens. If you can afford it - buy it.

OMG

Well well well to be honest I don't even know where to begin let me start by telling you I am crazy on technology and I been buying very high-end TVs since 2005 starting with plasma LCD LED and now OLED and I spend as much as 7K on a TV and I been upgrading them every about 3 years but I'll tall you I have never ever seen anything like this the Picture quality is so crisp and clear I just wish I had time to sit in front of this tv and watch it all day long. Couple weeks ago I bought 55" Sony XBR UHD HDR and pic quality on it was only OK and went to Best buy exchange it for LG OLED OLED55B6P and I wasn't completely satisfied with the purchase and than a week later I went back to BB and exchanged it again for this beauty thnx to best buy customer service was very friendly and didn't mind after 2 returns this TV blows away every TV on the marked out of the water. yes this tv is price but they will say what you pay is what you get I got it on sale over 2K off so I cant be happier. if you are in the market for a TV look no further this is the one you should get period.
