Great keyboard

I had the Alienware TactX for a long time and this keyboard is my second one I own. The keyboard is really nice and has about the same features as my TactX though it did felt a bit weird to use at first but it's feels amazing right now. The keyboard is pretty damn small from my expectation especially compared to my old TactX. Overall I love everything about this keyboard and if you buy right now you get The Division free with it though if you don't got the code with the keyboard you'll have to contact Logitech and get the code from them.

good gaming keyboard

I've had this keyboard for 2 weeks now and the there have been no issues with it. The keys have a nice movement and being able to change individual key color is nice.

Buy this to game. Not to write an essay.

Pros: Incredibly ergonomic for gaming. your hand perfectly fits into the wasd with the pinky on shift and thumb on spacebar. The keys have this wonderful bevelled feel that makes it very clear which fingers are touching which keys, and its comfortable to boot! Wondefully responsive. haven't had any issues, but that's to be expected. Having the option to change the colours of keys individually was very aesthetically pleasing. Cons: It's big. Like... very big. This is my third gaming keyboard and it pretty much trumps them all in size. The software does strange things. At one point it loaded all my former presets and couldn't find the keyboard. Unplugged it... plugged it back in... still nothing. I rebooted and it seemed to fix the problem but this has happened twice now. I can still use it to type and all, just can't change the colours. What makes it great for gaming makes it a bit to get used to in regards to typing. It's not BAD per se... just takes some getting used to since the keys are a very alien shape.

Strange Keyboard

Fast, beautiful colors, easy software and that's it. Bad, strange shape of keys produced finger pain after long typing. Horrible sound. No brightness adjuster. Impossible to disable the Caps Lock. Asymmetric palm rest which eliminates this keyboard for typing.

Great Keyboard eventhough its expensive

I usually won't keep this expensive keyboard if its not worth the money. But with what it says it does, its a keeper. Can't go wrong with this keyboard. I love how we can control the color of each button/key on the keyboard. I would recommend this keyboard than other lower quality logitech keyboard. Once you try this one, you won't be able to go down to any lower quality keyboard. The tack and feel of this keyboard is like no other.

Excellent keyboard.

At first I was debating between the black widow chroma and this keyboard. Knowing that Logitech typically has a good rep, I went for the orion spark to match my G600. And I've had nothing but good things. It took a bit to adjust to the new keys and the Arx Control on my phone. Which by the by was extremely easy to set up. Excellent keyboard, would buy again.

Could be better

I like the shape of the keys, but it doesn't feel as responsive as other mechanical keyboards I've tried. The lights are really clear and the software is great. The problem I have is that it doesn't have an integrated USB port which would be perfect since there is a dock for your phone or tablet. With an integrated port, I could recharge and dock my phone at the same time a lot easier. I'd much rather have an integrated port, than a dock with no connection, especially with the price. I thought the dock would've had a plugin, but appearently not. The main problem I'm having with this keyboard is that some of the buttons don't activate without pushing really hard. Mainly the "MR" button to set macro commands. Another problem is the "Lock" buttons (CAPS, NUM, SCROLL) will be activated, but the indication lights don't always turn on or off. Big problem when filling in things like passwords because if you enter it wrong too many times, you have to reset your password depending on what you're logging into. Some times I'll press CAPS and it will activate, but the light will indicate that it's off, and the same happens vice versa. Really annoying to have to do a couple test types to see if CAPS is actually on or not Other problems I'm having are just personal preference, like the tactility of the keys and the fact that I've never used a board with programmable buttons (I have to get used to the bigger size. I confuse the G1 key with the ESC key all the time)

Great Keyboard with a few minor issues

The keyboard itself is great, I love the feel of the keys. The board is nice and quiet, for a mechanical keyboard that is, but you still get some tactile feedback and a bit if clicky sound. I find the feel of the keyboard to be less clicky than the Cherry MX Blue and Green but more clicky than the Brown and red. The board is definitely quieter than the Blue and Green, but to me it seems a little noiser than the brown. Of all the mechanical switch types I tested, I liked this one the best. I found gaming and typing on this keyboard to be very good. The weight of the keyboard is nice, it doesn't slide around at all. I wasn't sure if I would like the odd angles on most of the keys, it took a little getting used to, but I like it now. I do find it odd that not all the keys have the same angles on the top. The keys on the left side of the board have a different top than keys on the right, you don’t really notice when typing but in a well lit room it just looks a little odd. The illumination of the keys is fantastic, I have never seen a keyboard show so well and have such bright even lighting on each key. Even in a bright room the keyboard stands out, something some of my previous boards didn’t do, eg. G19. The ability to customize each key to match the game or software you are running is useful as well, however often you don't look at the board while gaming anyway so it isn't as useful as I thought it would be. The white is still a little on the blue side, no one seems to be able to get it quite right. I have two issues with the board or rather the software. 1) The ARX Dock software is pretty much useless right now since no one is developing for it, or so it seems. That really isn't a flaw to the keyboard itself, but the board does have the ARX dock included so you would think the software would work at least as well as it did on the G15/G19 boards, but it doesn't. So right now the dock never gets used and since it is a light blue color, having nothing in it makes the area look out of place and would much rather have seen it in black or at least grey if anything. 2) I use a Belkin SOHO DVI USB KVM between my low power everyday desktop and my gaming desktop. Sometimes the software will not recognize the board when you flip back and forth, and the board will come in the standard Blue illumination until you reboot/log off and back in or you at least close the LCore software and re-launch it. It doesn't happen all the time, but enough to be annoying. All in all this is a great keyboard. +Bright colourful individual customized keys +Nice tactile feel to the keys, not too much or too little, just right for me +Quieter than most of other mechanical keyboards, but still have the nice clicky sound. To me this is quiet enough to use in an office/cubical atmosphere and I am considering getting another +Nice look to the keyboard +Dedicated media keys +Nice placement of the G keys, although for most games I do not use them +Ability to disable the windows keys by pressing a toggle key on the keyboard +Nice weight to the board, with good anti slip pads on the bottom -Cannot customize the color of the media keys, Num, Caps and Scroll lock LEDs, not can you customize the color of the M1, M2, M3 keys. -Issues when used with a USB KVM sometimes -ARX Dock is useless right now because the software has no development -Poor choice of colour for the ARX Dock itself -Not a big fan of the palm rests, so I use the smallest of the included palm rests to keep the feel similar on both sides of the board -Expensive

Love this keyboard

Easy to set up on the PC and have my android phone working with it. The feel of the keys is way better than I hoped. Upgraded from the G105. The wife doesn't like the mechanical keys but she is getting used to the sound. Bought her Beats by Dre Studio headphones so she doesn't even hear it when she has them on.

Logitech is wayyy better than razer

not sure what the other guy was talking about but the software for this keyboard is great and easy to use. The razer chroma has a lot of color bleed meaning you'll see the color from the LEDs on the sides of the keys the g910 has very little to none. Also logitech has way better quality stuff than razer and will last a lot longer. The g910 uses romer g keycaps which are amazing a perfect balance between quietness and tactility. Great keyboard overall.

Good Hardware, Terrible Software

I was quite conflicted over this keyboard. The key caps are a nice shape, the lights are nice and clear, the phone/tablet mount is a cool feature, but the software to run everything is awful. I returned this keyboard and got the Razer Blackwidow Chroma instead. The Chroma does everything and it does it all very well!
