Logitech Solar Wireless Keyboard for Mac (K750)

I have only had this keyboard for about 3 weeks. I got tired of the itty bitty thing that came with my MAC so settled on this Logitech keyboard. So far, it is working great.

Best Keyboard I've Ever Bought!

I've owned this keyboard for about 3 years. I've never had any trouble, and I've never had to buy batteries or recharge anything. I love it! No cables and no problems, it even worked in my basement from the artificial light.

Keys slow to respond after several months use

This keyboard worked flawlessly for more than a year, then it started with the occasional key would not respond. Now it is completely unusable. This is a very common issue from what I have discovered. I have tried the solutions on several blogs [remove the battery and hit keys to let buffers clear] to no avail. I will get a wired keyboard instead.

Runs on Solar - Doesn't Need Oiling

I've had this keyboard for about 3 years and I never had to worry about it being charged even when left in a dark room for a long time. It stays connected with the micro transmitter and although it is super slim, it has a nice heavy feel to it and a solid touch with the keys. I got this keyboard for my mac because I wanted a keyboard with the separate number pad. Unfortunately, I spilled a bottle of hair oil over it and the keys didn't operate the first time they were pushed. I took it apart and cleaned it, that made it worse, but I liked it so much I'm going to get another one.

This is a great, convenient keyboard.

I recently switched to using my Macbook Pro full time. I setup an external monitor and mouse, and needed a keyboard to compliment it. I've had the Windows version of this keyboard for over 2 years now. I was happy to see there is a Mac version, too. So, after some quick research on alternatives, I picked it up. Like my windows keyboard, the solar chargers are very convenient. No longer having to swap batteries is great. Furthermore, the keyboard looks nice. It keeps up with Apple aesthetic. The keypad is a great add-on, too. It's not the same quality as a native Apple keyboard, as it's plastic and not metal. However, the solar panels and keypad make up for it. I highly recommend this keyboard.

Stop Working

Stopped working after 2 months, No matter how much you put in front of the light, It does no longer work anymore. Money waisted, should've looked on the internet for reviews before buying this product.

Great Apple Keyboard

I bought a second one I was so happy. No replacing batteries. Strongly recommend as a replacement for the Apple Keyboard without the num keys!! Much Better.

Happy!

I'm very pleased with this low profile keyboard which replaces an earlier, clunkier, Logitech wireless keyboard. The sightly convex keys make typing easier than on some other flat-key style keyboards. Being one who likes to keep spares, the rechargeable coin battery is hard to find locally.Had to source one online from the US which doubled the price, but still it's peace of mind for when the supplied one's life cycle ends. In a pinch, a regular coin battery of the same size would work and there is no problem finding this common item.

Should have got this sooner

Awesome. No set up required. Just works. And it's nice to have a numerical keypad again.

Great Keyboard

I like the feel of this keyboard. It's more like typing on a typewriter. Nice spring to the keys and the profile is low.

Nice keyboard

I thought the biggest issue for me would be whether the chiclet keys would bother me. But a month of using this, I'm quite used to it and find it quite comfortable. Also found I didn't need a keyboard wrist rest. I do find sometimes it's a little slow in low light - not sure why that is as it says the battery is charged for up to a month. Otherwise a good alternative to the official Apple keyboard.

Works Great

Pros: Solar!!, no batteries or wires, works as advertised. No lag in key input. Cons: Cheap feel to the keyboard, USB dongle Bottomline, Logitech could have upped the price a bit and used finer materials and integrate Bluetooth. Works great though.

Logitech dropped the ball on this one.

Logitech wasn't thinking hard when they created this keyboard. There should be no need to use a USB dongle for this keyboard. Their other offering (K760) is bluetooth but does not have a numeric keypad. Dear logitech, make a bluetooth version of this so mac users do not have to sacrifice a USB port that is in limited supply just for basic input.
