Does exactly what you'd expect - maybe a bit more

I was looking for something sleek but straight-forward. The Bluetooth connected easily to my Ubuntu installation and I did not need any fancy software for the scroll and swipe features to work. They just worked. The battery lasts a long time between needing recharging. It comes with a great little USB cable for recharging and the case it comes in can be re-purposed into a little clear storage container. My only complaint is that I have a fairly large hand and find it on the small side. I'd give it a 4.5 stars if I had the option.

Mighty Mini-Mouse

Excellent. Use it for my personal Surface Pro 4 and for my HP work-provided laptop via Bluetooth. Since it has dual settings (a switch) I can quickly/easily switch it between laptops without unpairing and re-pairing. It has no conventional (drycell) batteries, but it is quickly and easily charged by USB (cable included). I wanted a small mouse to I take with my thin SP4 to work and home. I needed a super slim mouse to carry in my leather zipped folder. (eventhough I also have a MS Pen and a SP4 keyboard in tow). I was going to get an "Arc Touch Bluetooth Mouse", but for the same price I got this much smaller Logitech mouse. BTW, the mouse has a touch-top for scrolling, tapping etc. It works great...it took me about a day to get used to it.

Excellent for Apple & Windows & ...

Logitech have created a ton of confusion by marketing this in black (T630) and white (T631). Where the confusion lies is in their product branding labelling the fanboy white for Apple OS devices and the black version for PC/Windows devices. In reality, they are one in the same device and either is compatible with both environments. In fact, there are a few reviews on the web where people are using one of these mice for Ubuntu and Linux. My purchase mates the T630 with my MacBook Air and I have found it to be an excellent alternative to any Apple pointing device. It allowed me to retain all the key Mac gestures along with an good level of customization. Some reviewers have noted that the size can cause issues but that is not a problem for my L-XL sized hands. The key to using this is to drive with your fingers rather than your palm. If you already drive your mouse with your fingers, you'll have no trouble, and if you are a palm driver, the learning curve isn't all that steep. In fact, I found moving from the MacBook trackpad to this device pretty seamless. This mouse is very responsive and has an extremely high-end feel in the hand (as it should given the price). I particularly like the aluminum side rails which give it a very high-end feel. Out of the box you can do all the basic functions you need to. Notwithstanding, I recommend loading the correct OS drivers from Logitech. For Apple that means that you will have the native functionality around such things as accessing Mission Control, desktop, swiping between full screen apps, browsing back and forth, etc. In fact, with the Apple drivers loaded and customization set up, I can't tell the difference between using the MacBook trackpad or Magic Mouse. The only down side I would say with this is that there doesn't seem to be an auto-off function that turns off the device either when I turn off bluetooth on the MacBook, put the laptop in sleep mode or turn it off altogether. This will take some getting used to. Other than this one minor flaw - which I am sure is somehow justified by product development - I simply can't find anything wrong with it. It's just plain good. I have this paired with a K380 bluetooth keyboard (also a 5 star winner) with the MacBook Air sitting on a laptop riser/stand. The combination has gotten me out of notebook posture jail with all the pains gone as a result.

Good looks, good features

Using it with my Macbook Pro. No difference in terms of usability on either OSX or Win, only difference is the colour. Very responsive to gestures, fast recharge, a 2 hour charge lasts a few weeks of moderate use. Ergonomics aren't great because of its awesome small size but it's quite tolerable after getting some used to.

awkward, uncomfortable and overpriced

Dont buy this. Its too small, awkward in the hands, and doesnt perform well - clicking is strange. Also, overpriced. Pass and pick up something else

Well worth the $$$$

I bought this to use with my surface pro and my Blackberry Z30 and it works flawlessly with both devices, like the design and the ability to use it as touch pad on the surface. Its a nice size that it fits in my tablet case and its a great when I link up my Z30 to the TV to work on spread sheets on the big screen at the hotel when on the road for work. Can't go wrong for the price as you always get what you pay for...

Awkward but well made

I bought this mouse hoping to use it with my tablet when travelling. I would be using RDP to remote-control my desktop. The mouse worked well but was rather uncomfortable to hold. I think the Microsoft equivalent which arches and folds flat would feel better. Oddly, this mouse felt better to old backwards. Clicking is a bit odd as well since the entire body of the mouse moves to click the buttons. Even so, well made, and works.

Really bad battery life

I bought two of these. The second soon after the first. I liked how sleek it is and enjoyed the novelty of the touchpad-like top for scrolling vertically and horizontally. Was a little odd at first, but quickly grew to like the feel of it. The down side is having to recharge the battery every 4 to 5 days. Really annoying. The mouse will simply stop working, and you have to plug it in to let it recharge. It doesn't take that long, a couple hours, but I use this for my work and I don't have time to wait. So, I would not recommend this mouse.
