Worked Great... At First

When I bought these headphones, I was looking for something with a microphone that I could use for both calls and recordings. It had as good a quality as I could ask for in terms of calling, and my contacts had no issues hearing me, but wasn't of the quality I needed for recording. Still, in terms of hearing and comfort, it was great short-term. After a few hours or so however, I would begin to get frequent earaches which made sleeping difficult - this never happened with previous headphones. Unfortunately wearing them less wasn't an option, as my schooling is online. Still, none of these were outstanding issues to me, as they only happened every now and then. However, a few weeks ago, I started having issues with the USB connector itself. If I would bump the cord, or turn to address someone beside me, my computer no longer recognized it, and audio began playing from my speakers instead until I fiddled with the connection again. Within another week, it became so sensitive that unless I sat completely still, my computer believed that it was causing a power surge on the USB port - and consequently refused to accept the device on that port. It didn't matter which USB port I tried, as this happened instantly upon movement. Recently, I ran my computer through a few tests, and tried plugging them in one last time to see whether, by some off chance, it was my computer which was causing the issue. This time, I didn't even have time to put the headphones on. There was a power surge instantly upon plugging them in. Overall, I would probably be completely fine with this product, despite its little quirks with the microphone and the design of the ear padding - but I can't even use it now, and am worried of plugging it in at all in case something happens to my computer. I would not advise buying this product.

Uncomfortable

I was given these by my friend who bought them and didn't like them, his review doesn't seem to appear online here. They are uncomfortable to wear. The cord is too stiff, causing noise when it rubs your body. Although it does work as advertised on the box, it doesn't feel comfortable and I don't enjoy using them.

Best I can say about them is that they work

They feel cheap, they're not very comfortable and the cable is too stiff and when it rubs anything it telegraphs noise right into the headset (that the other party can hear.) Additionally the mic is only usable on the right hand side, which is a problem for me because my computer is on the left and so the stiff cord has to pass across my body, which increases how often I come in contact with it, and as I mentioned above, this leads to extra noise. Also, there is a weird bump in the cord which looks like it should contain a LED or be a safety release, but actually doesn't appear to serve any purpose. In my opinion, these headphones are overpriced for what you get, they'd be a better deal at half the price.

I don't recomend this

I bought this and my birthday and after 1-3 months things start to get messed up, The audio cuts out frequently making me plug out the usb every 2-4 mins, Another reason I hate this because sometimes it makes a loud static sound going into my ears which is very painful. I do not recommend this, this is just a piece of trash that loses a chuck of your hearing

Bad quality and painfull

I had these for five months now and they already trashed out on me. Sometimes the audio will cut and it will boost the audio im listening to into my ears, resulting in a painfull, loud noise to my ears. I do not recomend this product. Be aware

Disappointing waste of money

I am severely disappointed with this headset. A manager at my local Best Buy recommended them for sound quality after I told him I was looking for an affordable headset to record audio with. Much to my dismay, the mic quality was horrendous; it's echoey and choppy and hardly picks up any sound despite manually adjusting input settings to compensate for it. The headphones alone had decent quality when other audio was played back, but I didn't find them comfortable to wear. After wearing them for about an hour my ears started to get sore from the pressure/way they rested on my head. As a student with limited cash flow, I'm very disappointed that I wasted my money on this item. Live and learn, I suppose.

Uncomfortable Ear Piece

The main problem was with the comfort of the headset. It created pressure on and in my ears. The first time that I used it for an overseas call, the speaker's voice sounded like it was in a tunnel in my ears. This made it difficult to hear properly and this posed a risk for me. It was a business call and I needed a reliable headset. I think that the product is well made which I appreciate, but comfort is really the key point that needs improving.

Uncomfortable

Sound quality is fine, but I found that the headset is so uncomfortable to wear that it's basically unusable.

What a horrible cord!

Mic seems good. Non ergonomic headset.

Good sound but uncomfortable

Doesn't "hold"on to your ears and tends to move off easily. Uncomfortable for the ears after 2 minutes. It pushes on the ears instead of locking around them. Would not recommend it to a friend. Bad ergonomic.

Great but mic died 4 weeks later !

Sound quality in speakers and mic was very good. Comfortable fit too. But the mic totally stopped working 4 weeks after purchase; and that was even with a 10 day break of using this set at all in that month. Best Buy refunded without problem.

Good product

This headset gave me what I needed, great sound quality, but I had to return it for one reason. It uses a USB port. The mic works very well too, great noise reduction. Unfortunately one thing that I didn't like about it was the fact that it uses a USB port. So for some applications and gaming you have to plug in the headset before start the application otherwise the mic won't work. For media player, for example it doesn't matter whether it's already running or not, but for some games it doens't work unless you plug in the headset before starting the game. If wasn't for that it would be a nice headset for me.

Great sound, HORRIBLE cord!

The sound quality for this headset is great, but the cord kinks very, very easily. Just within the first day of using it it had already kinked up quite a bit, despite the fact that it had been in use the whole time. Within a week I had to move my computer to allow the cord more room because it was kinking so badly. Now, after one month of use, I have chronic neck pain because the cord keeps pulling my head towards the computer and the cord looks like it's been through several years of use. Will not be buying this product again.

Absolutely Perfect

this headset has everything that I needed, which was, good mic quality, beautiful audio quality, and a nice design. a lot of the reviews said that it was uncomfortable for the ears, but after awhile all you have to do is take it off and rub your ears just a bit. Overall a great headset for several users.

Logitech USB Headphones ( H540)

Audio from headset is totally awesome! Earphones seem to be a bit heavy.

Great Headphones

I don't know why people give this set of headphones such a hard time and bad rating. The audio from the speakers is very good, and the mic output going is very clear. I've used it for VOIP and as long as you plug the USB directly into the computer ie. you don't use a usb extension, the sound quality is crystal clear. The only thing is that if you wear them for long periods of time, your ears get kind of sore. I just take them off for a little bit and then put them back on.

Another great product from Logitech

This headset is actually very comfortable contrary to what others are saying in their ratings. I was worried they wouldn't be but they're great. It's USB which is awesome. Sound quality is very good and the mic works like a dream. it has volume up and down buttons on the headset and even a mute button. Great product, love it. And the blue matches my gaming set up very well :)

Cord is way to thick and heavy

I bought this because it was considered a high quality headset. It does have good sound and it moderatly comfortable, however the cord is very thick and there is no clip to clip it onto your shirt. The cord pulls the headset off of your head because the cord is so thick, heavy and not easily flexible. Will return.

Great sound quality, VERY uncomfortable.

This is a really good headset in terms of sound quality and mic quality. It has some handy buttons on the side of the headset that make it easy to control your settings while playing games, and the adjustable microphone is really hand as well. The earpieces, however, are very uncomfortable. After about 15 minutes, the pressure against my ears cause terrible pain and even headaches. Maybe you can put up with it, but I certainly can't. Logitech dropped the ball on this one and they've really disappointed me with their poor design.

great for kids

These are a bit small for an adult but they work great for my kids (age 5 - 8). The microphone quality is clear and the USB connector and cable is a lot less flimsy than a mini 2.5mm connector so it holds up to their abuse better. Has mute and volume control buttons on the right earpiece and a nice red mute indicator LED on the cord. Overall seems to be of good build quality and has lasted longer than any previous headphone set with the young ones...

Great Headphones

Sits very comfortably, great sound for decent price. I tried out the Logitech H600 because I wanted it wireless but they are terrible. These headphones are good. Buy them.

Bad.

I don't like this product at all, the mic is way too sensitive, it can pick up someone walking down stairs 20 feet away through a wall, the headset feels slightly firm, and it always slides off of your head due to the terrible earpads, all in all i would give it a 2 star because the speaker quality isn't too bad.
