Overview

The Logitech Wireless Touch K400 Keyboard gives you total control of your computer from just about anywhere in the room. It features a large 8.9cm touchpad that allows for multi-touch navigation, as well as a Logitech Unifying receiver that's compact but still lets you add 5 more compatible devices to it.

More Information

  • With a wireless range of up to 10 metres (33 ft.), you can turn up the volume, pause your slideshow or tweet about the movie you just watched without getting up from the couch (wireless range may vary due to environmental and computing conditions)
  • A 2.4GHz wireless technology means you'll enjoy it all with virtually no delays, dropouts or interference
  • No need for a separate mouse - this compact keyboard has a large 8.9 (3.5"), built-in touchpad that makes vertical and horizontal scrolling intuitive
  • Multi-touch navigation makes it easier than ever to point and scroll your way through the Web; large left and right-click buttons, too
  • Setup couldn't be easier; simply plug the tiny Logitech Unifying receiver into a USB port, kick back on the couch and enjoy all your laptop entertainment on the big screen
  • Even the hot keys work right out of the box without software
  • Easily add up to five more compatible mice, keyboards and number pads to the same receiver
  • Sleek, low-profile keys feel good and barely make a sound; they're also easier to read and less likely to fade, thanks to the bold, bright white font and UV coating
  • Go a full year doing the things you love without battery hassles
  • An on/off switch helps you save power when you're not using the keyboard

Love this keyboard

I use it at work for managing a whole bunch of pc's on a KVM with a range of operating systems and it works like a charm. This keyboard has everything you want, including a responsive keyboard and accurate decent dpi touchpad. For one of the comments I saw, the touch pad IS a little too sensitive and I have accidentally opened things because of it BUT if you hold the FN button and click the left touchpad button... it DISABLES touch click! Problem solved! I never even use the touch feature because the thumb button is in the PERFECT place for your thumb. Ordering one for my HTPC at home RIGHT NOW.

Pretty good keyboard, great value for price

I like this keyboard, Ive bought two and theyve served me pretty well. I have a tv/computer setup in a living room so its amazing to look things up from my couch. Its light and easy to use. Good value for the price. My only problem is that it loses connectivity sometimes. It may be a battery problem.

Wireless touch Keyboard K400

very happy with this product, Only one draw back is the touch pad is really sensitive when scrolling over the web page and actually opens up pages you don't mean to touch, other than that, I think it really fits well on the coffee table, nice sleek design and only one usb needs to be used 5*

Media Center In Living Room

Solid Keyboard for what it is.. Pros Small and compact. Left Click at top left corner for easy mouse control. plug it in and it works. Great price. Great for the living room. Cons If the keyboard is not pointed at the Bluetooth USB there is input lag or missed commands. Becomes annoying when laying down and trying to surf around.

Awesome and compact!

I use this handy little keyboard for my HP Slate Android 17" tablet, and works like a charm. Saves on fingerprints on the touchscreen. Its easy plug and play thru the usb connection. Great little addition to any computer/laptop or tablet.

Great Little Unit

I found this keyboard was ready to go right out of the box. I bought it for my Samsung 40" Smart TV and this board is plug and play. I have always had great service from Logitech products, and expect the same from this. Very pleased with this purchase so far!

Excellent

Bought one of these keyboards for my media player about a year ago, love it! I have to get others for my other TVs! Works great, don't need to for mouse or no losing the mouse anymore!

Great little keyboard

Purchased this to use with my HTPC - I was previously using a similar product from nexxtech. This unit feels more solid and is more responsive, as well as being way better looking. It's a perfect form factor for the living room and tucks away when not needed.

Good compact keyboard with limited mouse features

The keyboard is good for controlling home theater PC, which in general does not need a lot of typing. Extensive typing is not easy because the right shift key is too far right. Without Windows as the operating system, keyboard and mouse pad functions are limited. Using it to control XBMC, the 2-finger vertical scroll does not work. Logitech should incorporate a wheel instead. The keyboard feel is not great, but its smaller size is good for holding it on one hand, while using the other hand to do simple one-finger typing.

Great wireless keyboard/touchpad combo

This is a solid, good value piece of hardware. Only complaints so far are that the small shift key on the right will take some getting used to, and the installation instructions don't make it obvious that you need to install both the "Unifying" and "SetPoint" software to be able to customize your settings. You may also need to un-pair then re-pair your keyboard in "Unifying" for the keyboard/mouse settings to appear in SetPoint. Just so you know. Once you know, it all works great.

perfect

I purchased this keyboard to connect to our smartTV to prevent using the remote control to navigate netflix and the web. Perfect size to store near the couch and integrated mouse pad make it even easier to navigate. I love the on/off switch such that batteries will last much longer. Picked it up on sale but i would have paid full price for this product.

Meh...

I got this keyboard on sale for $[...], I would have returned it if it cost more. My main complaint is the right shift key, it is only single key width and the furthest out key. The up arrow key is in the place where the shift key would be on a normal keyboard with a double wide key, so its very likely youre going to be hitting the up arrow instead of the shift key. This keyboards multi-touch gestures do not work on Mac. You can use 2 fingers to scroll and right click but nothing else, and the hot keys do nothing as well. The bluetooth was very easy to set up, connects quickly, and batteries are included. The cheapest keyboards you can buy are $[...] and this one is wireless, decent build quality with a trackpad and good bluetooth receiver and I only paid $[...] so i decided to keep it as i wouldnt find a better keyboard for that price. I woiuld not pay $[...[ for this keyboard unless I had a Windows * machine i wanted to use the multi-touch gestures.

Perfect choice for movie lovers

I bought this keyboard, since we watch a lot of shows on my TV connecting it with laptop. Primarily on DailyMotion or YouTube and most of the time it will be an ad which we need to skip and it was a big trouble to get up and skip the ad. So we bought this keyboard to do the task while on couch, and we LOVE it. It has power button, which helps us if we have to turn on or off laptop, while going nowhere close to it. Range is also good and has been able to roam around my 1 bedroom apartment without getting close to my laptop. In short, we love what we bought.

Great for my LG smart TV

Bought this primarily to use with my LG 50LB6100 and it works a treat. Easily to navigate the internet, Netflix, Youtube etc. Takes a couple of taps to wake up the keyboard but that's fine as I know it's saving battery life. Love how Best Buy asked me to review this when it goes on sale for half price...cheers...buy it now though, great deal!

ok

Its a decent product. It has a good range, doesn't drain the batteries and its super light weight. The only thing I would of preferred is if the right key was bigger and maybe if the keyboard was wider. Its small size can make it difficult to type sometimes.

Compact and Good Range

Bought this for an HTPC running Windows 8. The wireless range is great and the keyboard is nice and compact so I can store it in a drawer when not in use to keep it dust-free. The touch pad is responsive and the function keys are a nice feature especially for an HTPC. Customizing the function keys took some googling to fix since the option wasn't there the first time I installed the driver and software.

Handy Keyboard

I bought this keyboard to give myself more freedom of use with my home pc. I find it works well and really like the included laptop style mouse pad that is in the spot where the number pad would normally be. I find it comfortable to use, feels nice to the touch and is pretty compact. The only negative thing I can say about this device is that the right hand side shift key is too small. Quite often I end up pressing the up arrow instead which is quite frustrating whey typing anything of particular length. All in all, good keyboard. Good at what it does.

Good keyboard

I bought this keyboard mainly for using it with my new samsung smart tv EH5300. It works right out of the box - no configuration. The TV system even recognizes the keyboard. The K400 comes with the mousepad, which makes browsing the web on the TV fast and easy as if you were browsing on your laptop, no need for a separate mouse.

Love it

I wasn't sure I would, but I wanted something compact and my cheapo HP wired keyboard always had N key issues. I love the track pad over the mouse - even for work applications. My work software requires a lot of mousing and I was a bit worried the track pad would slow me down. It's a little easier actually - go figure... The only thing I miss is a number pad, but I don't use it often enough to be a major problem. I may buy an extension number pad that I can dig out when I need it. I'd love something like this with some programmable buttons.

LOGITECH K400 - Excellent keyboard and touch pad!

Excellent Keyboard. I replaced my DiNOVO mini with this one. The Dinovo mini was too slow and the keyboard too small for QWERTYing your heart away. I have had no connectivity, functionality or range issues. Approximately 10-12 ft distance from my HTPC to where the keyboard is used and it works great! Best bang for the buck. I plan on getting another for the HTPC in another room. I recommend this product, so go BUY IT! :-P

Simple and effective keyboard

I bought a small HTPC to plug to my HDTV and needed a keyboard. I bought this one and plugged in the USB adapter to the back of the HTPC and the trackpad was awful. I solved this by plugging the USB adapter at the front of the HTPC where it was almost always visible by the keyboard and it`s been a success. The keyboard is nice and responsive but feels flimsy, so don`t sit on it. The trackpad is responsive and I like the 2 finger swipes to scroll web pages. I keep forgetting to do the on-off switch on it, but it`s really only 2 small batteries and they can easily be replaced. I`m so pleased with this simple keyboard. It`s not for gaming. Just typing and browsing. Get it.

Bought this for my media center PC in my living room. Works flawlessly! However I wish it had two things: - Play, pause, skip, etc media keys - Backlit keyboard Other than that it is perfect and feels very solid.

Works on a Mac Mini

Another thing mac has not thought of is to merge the mouse into the keyboard. But Logitech has pulled it off with this device!
