Fixed my wrist/arm pain

Really nice trackball! Setup was easy (no drivers to install on Win10) nor any pairing to do, just works right out of the box. Learning curve was small since it's still mouse shaped, you're just using your thumb to move the cursor around. Would recommend to anyone thinking of getting a trackball!

Best Trackball Ever

I'll start by saying that my trackball gets heavy use and that over the past 10 years ± this is my third. Love the shape and feel - works very well for me.

Great mouse

This is my 5th Logitech trackball mouse. Love it for gaming. But they do not last forever. Best mouse ever made.

Great mouse; build quality and function could be improved though.

I decided to buy this for 3D modeling and general use. Immediately upon holding the mouse, I wasn't happy with the build quality. It feels very light and unsubstantial. I feel like they could have invested some more into the shell of the mouse. I also feel like the mouse would benefit from extra buttons, because it has such a large form factor with plenty of empty surface area. A few extra programmable buttons or an on-the-fly DPI switch would make this mouse absolutely superb. The mouse does function great, though. It's made 3D modeling more user friendly for me. It's also very comfortable on the wrist compared to standard mice.

Wireless trackball

I had a wired trackball with my old computer and loved it. I purchased a new computer last year and tried using the keyboard and mouse that came with it It was very frustrating. So I puchased a new wireless sculpted keyboard and a a Logitech trackball mouse. Back to loving it. It's easy on the wrist and arm. No moving the mouse, just your fingers. It takes a bit of "getting used to it" but one you are, it is awesome. I love my trackball "varmint".

Best mouse I used so far

Whether it is for image editing, web surfing or even gaming, this mouse is the best! Never since i got it I wanted another mouse. At first it might seems weird to use the trackball but within 2 minutes I was mastering it and loving it. Its size is perfect, and it's usable everywhere, perfect for laptops and small desks since you don't move the mouse. It does not have a really high dpi so for more serious gaming it might not be ideal, but wireless mouse rarely are fitted for this. I would not pay the full [price] for it though, I got it before the price rose and suggest you get it when it's on sale.

Beware known issue!

Have 2, loved it up until the moment both started double-clicking, attributed to the poor quality of switches used. One was 1year old the other 2 year old. I expected more from Logitech.

Just great!

This is my first trackball, it took me one day to get the hang of it, I will never go back to anything else. Great design, usability/comfort is excellent.

Great Product

This is my third tackball over the last several years. I love being able to flip the mouse pointer around with the flick of my thumb never having to move my hand. Its fast and accurate and saves me from having to scream every time my former wired mouse wire would get caught. It is also easier on my wrist.

Love it

Using this mouse has eliminated any wrist pain I was experiencing. I now use it at home and work. I've found it very comfortable and easy to use. My only negative is that I recently had to replace one as it started to have an issue with double clicking all the time. Sadly it was out of warranty. Would recommend to friends!

no more wrist pain

grew up with a track ball, too flumsy with a mouse and I like the fact my hand is stationary. Would be lost without one. Use for editing my show, everything

Good Value - However

When i say "However" is because we need a BLUETOOTH version for my mac. Currently I have the wired version at home and the wireless at work. On my mac I was hoping to free up a USB port but alas the wireless version requires a "dongle" to be inserted into the USB port. So no advantage gained.

I'm lost without it

This is my third. I've had them for years. One just wore out. Another one I left with my daught because the mouse thing on her mac didn't work. And just now I got a new one for myself. Delivery from bestbuy worked perfectly.

I really like this

I have been using Logitech trackballs for many years. I like this one because the marble pops out easily for cleaning the three posts inside that seem to gather gunk. I also like how easy it is to customize action, cursors and other things.

One of toughest mic I've seen!!

I dont know where the other people say its not durable.. I own the wired and wireless version of this mouse and both have taken more of a beating that 10 mic would and they still both work.. Only after approx. 5yrs of constant use and abuse am I thinking about replacing my wireless one. I've had the wired one for over 10yrs and it still works!! I use mine for gaming and regular day to day use and I doubt i'll ever buy anything but this model unless they come out with an newer one with a similar design.

Love the design hate how it breaks easily

Love the it fits in the palm of my hand and my wrist feels great on it. battery last a long time. but the range is poor if its not in close range to the unify it has a hard time sending the signal. plus it gets easily broken mine mostly drops because I have a cat that likes to knock things on the floor. I am on my 2 one. main reason why I plan on getting more of them is because of how it really makes me wrist feel comfortable.

cheaply made over priced bic lighter syndrome

sticky buttons after 2 months use rest is good: nice feel, RF works well, battery last long once the buttons go it becomes useless due to not working or intermitting if were [price] then would be fair deal repeat sales

Great ergonomics but...

There really isn't enough competition for this segment of the market. The overall design is great, battery life is exceptional, but the build quality is terrible, particularly the microswitches for the mouse buttons. The left mouse button doesn't hold up and the battery compartment panel latch wears out with frequent use.

Great to start but........................

This is a great device for the first few months. Then it began to double and triple click on one click. Deleted many emails I did not even know i got. No relief from Logitec even though it is a know issue.

Very Comfortable

I already had an older version with a cord on my main pc and bought this wireless version to use on my laptop, it's comfortable to use and I love the control I have with the trackball when doing nit picky work when digitizing designs

I love this mouse but it breaks easily!

Since I started using this mouse I can't use any other. It is that awesome! The only negative is that it is very easily broken. I am on my third one in less than two years. In both cases I dropped the mouse two feet off a bed onto the carpeted floor and this caused the scroll wheel to stop working. I'm not particularly hard on my electronics with no kids to destroy things! It seems awfully delicate.

Awesome Mouse and Trackball

Best trackball mouse out there. I've been using it for several years and it has not lost it's sensory ability at all. Comfortable design and very easy to use. I've been told by others it's difficult to navigate at first, but after a couple of hours with it, you'll wonder how you could ever use a normal mouse again. Great for people with carpal tunnel because it minimizes the strain on your wrist.

Logitech wireless mouse

i purchased this trackball mouse several months ago and i love it. it makes using a laptop so much easier - i hate the built in mouse of a laptop. i love the fact that it can stay in one place rather than running around on my desk and with a quick touch of my thumb the cursor moves to where i want it to be. i have oodles of control which makes for more productivity while working - even when the mouse in on my lap and the computer is off to the side on a desk. the mouse can be several feet away from the computer and it still sends/receives a signal for movement.

Must have for productivity

For all you trackball users, this is the one to have. Very smooth, precise and does not require daily cleaning like some others. Based in two years of use.

Cool design - WAY overpriced

The ergonomics of this mouse are quite good, and the scroll ball had a nice grippy feel to it. Sleek design, but falls way behind on durability and build quality. With a price tag of almost a [price] after tax, I was expecting a mouse with a solid build, and high quality parts. Instead, i got cheap plastic and a lightweight piece of equipment that felt like it would not last very long. Buttons were sticky, and the track ball felt "laggy". Would not recommend as I believe there are far better mice out there at this price point.

This is the second one of these trackball mouses that I have purchased. Wore out the first one. Works great for the lap top.

A Brilliant Mouse

I absolutely love this mouse! It is extremely comfortable, and perfectly fits the shape of my hand. I swear by this mouse. Trackball mice should be more popular than they are. You don't have to worry about buying a mouse pad, you don't have to worry about scrolling off the mouse pad, and you don't have to worry about keeping your mouse pad/laser clean! You can use this mouse anywhere too, like on your lap, an arm of a chair/couch, or a desk. no flat surfaces needed! The battery life is also superb too, and it is quick and easy to clean the ball/sensor. The downside is that it is pretty pricey, but I find it to be worth it.

I like this

I like the trackball, it is a good fit for my hands The battery compartment falls out, I will need to tape it Can't vouch for how long the unit will last, just been using it 2 weeks But I was VERY HAPPY when I plugged it in, and I still am

This is a great product

I just purchased this product thinking that it would be a cool things to have in my office and it is. It works beautifully, feels natural and is very easy to use. I thought that it would take some time to get use to the trackball way of moving around the mouse but it is so natural and moves wonderfully. This is a great product for the money. I would recommend this product to anyone

Logitech wireless trackball ( M 570 )

A excellent product. We have one on each computer. Easy on the wrist and I find the cursor more accurate and faster than the regular mouse. Excellent for games. Highly recommended.

not for everyone!

What a shame that Logitech has forgotten about left handed people with this trackball. I have been a passionate trackball user for many years, so was looking for a wireless version. I am out of luck as this one is definitely ONLY for right handed users!!

Love it!

I replaced my old Trackman Marble+ with this. Much more ergonomic and smooth. Ball / sensor / bearings clean a lot easier with quick pop out feature. I take it everywhere now with my job. It has a dongle storage inside for transporting.

Great Quality, Decent Price

I picked up the Logitech Trackball Mouse just over a year ago and it's still working like it just came out of the box. It's design fits your hand well and the ball is easy to manoeuvre with your thumb. The ball does get sticky at times but your able to quickly pop it out, clean off the ball and small sensors inside, then pop it back in. Another thing they stated on the box is that it runs for about 18 months on one AA battery. At first I assumed this was an exaggeration, but I've been using it for a about 15 of those months and the lights still green. However, I do make sure to turn it off at the end of the day so it doesn't drain a ton of power when not in use. Overall this is a great product for the money and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in buying a Trackball mouse.

Game Changer

Wow, can't believe it took me this long to try a trackball. Always been a mouse user but thought I would give this a shot. Bought from Bestbuy on a whim and glad I did. I would highly recommend but I would add that you need to give it some time to adjust and get used to. Took me about a week before it came natural and all I can say is wow. No regrets and very comfortable to use. May not be for everyone but I think if you give it a chance you'll appreciate a trackball over a mouse. Cheers!

Good product

Most of the reviews are positive about this product, and I have to agree, it is quite comfortable to use, although it takes a little getting used to in the beginning. The only thing I wanted to add is that over time, dust or other particles might get stuck in the ball area of the mouse and this might cause the ball to stiffen up a little and not rotate as smoothly as when it was new. It might be a problem for some people, but I didn't notice anyone else complaining about this. Maybe it's just me, but I do feel like I need to clean it up from time to time. I use either compressed air to clean out the inside portion of the mouse where the ball sits, or I simply press down with moderate force on the ball and rotate it in order to pick up some particles while spinning. Holding down the ball for a bit while spinning seems to give me the best results in order to reduce friction on the ball, but it's something that I need to do regularly to keep it smooth. Just wanted to share this, otherwise, it's a great mouse, and a good trackball.

Not for small hands

I bought this product with great expectations. I read that it works for all size hands. That's not true though. My middle finger barely reached the scroll real when in a comfortable position.

Editing

As an editor I started getting arthritis pain in my little finger. Since changing to the trackball, my work is faster, easier and asolutely the pain has gone completely. As a stationary item, less space is needed to when tracking across double screens. Takes a little getting used to but it's well worth it.

not the best there is, but okay.

This is not the first trackball I have owned: I used to have a Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman. It is quite simply the best trackball I have owned. If it wasn't for a corded receiver the size of a hockey puck, I would still be using it: I own a laptop now. Enter the M570: I've been using mine for a week now, and I begin to prefer it to my mouse (Logitech Performance MX: quite simply the best mouse there is). This is the most modern trackball out there: a tiny receiver I don't have to mind, truly cordless AND still usable. I am not fond of the placement of the ball: a finger controlled ball would be a lot more accurate and also free my thumb for more buttons. This trackball has only 5 buttons, when I would have liked 7. The trackball is too light, the ball a tad too small and with a tad less inertia than I would like. The body of this trackball is also a bit too large for my hand (I have small hands). The trackball has the all-plastic feel of a cheap Logitech mouse, while the pricetag is almost as high as that of the Performance MX mouse! Not even Logitech makes trackballs the way it used to, not even the overpriced ones. It's a far cry from my favourite trackball and a far cry from my favourite mouse, but it is still a fine trackball. I hope this helps someone.

Awesome

Takes a bit of getting used to considering you don't move your arm, but that's a benefit too, which is why I got this mouse. As a heavy image editor, it's a lot easier to spend long hours editing. And the battery live is exceptional.
