Awsome mouse

a Great gaming mouse that I use everyday easy to handle quick battery replacement when you battery dies, customizable to fit almost anybody's hand / preference all in all the best mouse I've had so far

  • from Moncton, NB

It's alright

I've had this mouse a little over a year and have had to have it replaced once already (2 year Mad Catz Warranty so keep your receipt!!) because one of the batteries would wiggle free while your playing just enough to turn the mouse off and make you wonder what happened. The only time I wouldn't be able to use my mouse is when I forget to charge the second battery but usually if you put the new battery in and charge the other one right away (2-3 hours to charge) you will never have to worry about not being able to replace the mouse. There are NO Windows 10 Support yet at all even with the new R.A.T. ProX coming out they have not updated drivers to Windows 10 so your stuck using generic drivers. Buy a Logitech G502 or a Corsair M65m I'm parting with my R.A.T. 9

Wireless DOES NOT equal gaming....

Pro's: Highly configurable, shapes/weights, etc. Feels really nice in your hand while either gaming or web browsing. Seems to tack nice, low latency. Con's: Where do I start? The side scrolling wheel just plain doesn't work in anything, not even regular windows apps where this addon would be quite handy (absolutely NO driver support for this feature whatsoever, it's a useless wheel that sits under your thumb). The battery is placed in such as way as to make changing it a real chore (not even kidding, the design is below one star for this...) And because this mouse eats batteries (again, NOT kidding, a battery will NOT last more than a day under light use), changing the battery is something you have to do frequently. Batteries charge incredibly slow, something you have to plan your gaming session around (as in, you better have both batteries fully charged before you start your gaming). All in all, a nice "ergonomic" mouse that "can" be used for gaming. That said, cordless mice are NOT gaming mice and should NOT be sold as such. If you're serious about your gaming, you use a corded mouse. It's that simple. The battery life of this mouse is scary bad (it's even worse than that, but I'll keep the language clean...). And I'll mention it again, because this is 2014 not 1914, why on earth would a company release a device with one main feature (the side scrolling wheel) hardly mentioned in their literature and absolutely not working even in their own "release" driver? Stay away from this mouse, it's waaay too much money, the battery life just isn't there at all (and did I mention that changing the battery is a pathetic experience??) and it is NOT good for gaming. Period.
