An overpriced, unreliable powerpoint clicker

I hadn't heard of the Myo until I received it as a gift. As a lover of gadgets and professor who gives lectures almost daily, it seemed right up my alley. Unfortunately, it's not worth the time or money. Doing the gestures looks rather silly. The gestures aren't reliable: it would pick up accidental gestures, jumping forward a bunch of slides, or I would have to gesture repeatedly for it to pick up (which looks even more silly) ...usually resulting in me giving up and going back to the computer. You can get a perfectly good clicker for (price). There are a lot of gadget enthusiasts who are excited about any shiny new thing, like this, but don't believe the hype. This is just a gimmick. A very, very expensive gimmick.

Great new technology

I have had this product since early shipping. I have seen software improve a great deal. As it is reading you muscle movements it takes some getting used to and also making sure your Bluetooth connection is good. I use it with Bluetooth headphones for wireless music control to Iphone for cycling and jogging. I also use for music control on office computer with two screens. Fit must be snug but i get used to it and usually wear it for hour or so at one time. When i lend it out I miss it!

Great once you get it setup

Took about 10 minutes to learn how to use it, but after that it's very easy. I've been using it for presentations at work - has really improved my presentations.

Too Sensitive and Too Small

Works as advertised, but the slightest muscle twitch in my arm causes the device to react. It really messes with my presentations when they jump ahead 2 or 3 slides because i moved my arm. The other issue is the size. The band is not built for individuals with large forearms. This device squeezes my arm so tightly that it leaves indentations. I will be returning this item.

It takes some times to learn how to use it

It can read you gesture perfectly but it takes sometimes to know how to use it. It will takes sometimes but after it will work perfectly.
