Nokia has dropped their quality since their symbia

The overall phone is great, with awesome hardware. However Nokia did dropped the GSM reception so it does have poor reception. If you are expecting that you can't go wrong with a Nokia then you are wrong, because the smartfeatures WIFI, GPS, NFC all work great but the phone reception is really poor in the same location with my old Nokia symbian phones I get full reception I get barely one bar.

Great value

I purchased this phone when it was on sale for [...] on Cyber Monday. I must say its a great phone for the price. All the major applications can be found (facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc...). It's a very smooth operation system; no lags, and its quick. Nokia camera, HERE drive and maps really add great value. Recommended!

Very solid budget phone

If are looking for a compact, phone that can do it all, this is it. If you are immersed in the google or Apple ecosystems, not so much. This is especially for Windows users or entry level users.

Nokia Lumia 620

I am very happy with this phone. The off line maps are one of the best features, complete with spoken navigation. I like the small size, and the fact that it is a Windows phone. Very easy to add or make changes to contacts or add items to the calendar using my Windows 8.1 desktop computer. Photos from the phone camera are automatically uploaded to Skydrive so they are available on your desktop computer without having to do anything.

Awesome phone from Nokia!

This phone is a bargain and it's worth more than the advertised price. You get offline maps anywhere in the world. This phone is even better than the Lumia 520. Totally worth it! And as far as apps go there are all the popular ones available at Window Phone store.

Nokia Lumia 620

Nice unit and a steal when it was on sale, Windows 8 works great + very smooth and Nokia's Here Drive+ app (with international GPS unlocked) is a brilliant addition to this particular smartphone. Note: OTHER Lumia models, even the more expensive ones, come with a license-restricted Here Drive app that only allows you to navigate in Canada. In essence, international navigation is verboten! The 620 model seems like the exception, with a full & unrestricted version of the app. Even at the regular price, I'd still definitely go for it. Nokia really knocked this one out of the park! Very satisfied! :)

Great value!

My daughter would have preferred a new iPhone but the price was right on this phone. It has all the apps she loves with a front and back camera. The screen is a nice size and it is very lightweight. Her only complaint is that the battery life is shorter than she'd like.

Its ok

After trying it out for 2 days... I was not happy with the OS.. Windows does not appear to be ready, and is light years behind the other players... The handset itself, looks to be built ok for the price... nothing spectacular... however Id like to give Nokia another try in the future.... I did enjoy their handsets years ago........

Great phone

I've had this phone for a couple weeks now and can say t his is a very good phone and well worth the price. I'm able to use it without experiencing any problems; it has decent specs, pretty good cameras and the option to add a micro sd card the only thing I don't like is they could have made the screen a little larger or maybe reduced the besel towords the bottom of the screen.

Didn't like the UI and this phone has no apps

The lack of apps on this phone is frustrating. If you don't care about apps, then you may like this phone, but then why are you buying a smartphone anyway? Additionally, the UI is reminiscent of Windows 8 which I dislike. The tile UI is a disaster.

Best value-for-money phone out there!

I've had my 620 for one month now, and I'm very very happy. Brief summary at bottom The 620 is Nokia's 2nd-lowest end phone, but it is worlds superior to the lesser 520. Here is why the 620 is better than the 520 and as good as phones costing far more: -Resolution is a very crisp 480x800 screen spanning 3.8 inches from corner to corner -While app variety is not great, it has many free apps that are superior to paid apps on other systems. Examples are HERE Drive+, a navigation app that provides excellent directions without using 3G; and apps such as Jack of Tools that provide nearly a dozen very useful tools. -Performance is fine. Sure, there are phones that can outperform the 620, but who needs to load things in a fraction of a fraction of a second? -Has front and rear-facing cameras, and though the quality isn't great, Nokia offers many photo editing applications that can make anything look good. -Windows Phone 8 Operating system is far more intuitive than the Windows 8 found on PC's -Battery life is mediocre, at around 36h. However, the 620 has multiple intelligent battery-saving features that can be turned on or off Pros and cons summarized: Pros: Stylish phone, even better looking OS. Cunning abilities Cons: Battery life could be better, but could also be worse. Cameras aren't great If you want the features of a high-end smartphone in one costing much less, the good-looking, reliable Nokia 620 is for you. I recommend a cheap case and set of screen protectors from the internet, as well as an 8GB (or more) microSD card as the internal storage is minimal. In addition: Best buy specifies the phone as coming only with a white case, though it comes with a black one as well.

Great phone for the price. Battery life is recent and if you don't need apps, is a great choice.

Best bang for the buck

This is a review of the phone only. Lots of phone for the price. There are a lot of low-end Android phones at this price range, but most are running old versions and are sluggish. This is a full Windows Phone 8 device running the newest version of Windows Phone. The phone is not large, but great for 1 handed use. Screen is bright and easy to read. The Windows Phone 8 system is super smooth, very slick and modern, with no lag. There are a ton of apps, including Xbox LIVE games. It also features a fantastic GPS with Nokia Here apps, that works without a data plan. Very highly recommended for anyone wanting a smartphone experience without a high-end price, or for a phone for children/teens. You can get a basic plan and just use wifi for data. Pros: - Great screen - Great size for 1 handed use - Windows Phone 8 is very, very slick and easy to use. - Tons of applications - Great GPS - Integrated SkyDrive support means you can share files seamlessly with Windows 8 - Removeable battery - Comes with 2 back covers (black or white) - Lots of quality built-in apps for everything - A "Kids corner" feature allows you to lock out features for use with children. Cons: - Very slippery! You will need a case. - On screen keyboard could be better - Rear camera is decent but not great The phone is locked to Telus. Check out their pricing before purchase. The phone *may* work with Koodo (owned by Telus) as well.

Nokia 620

Fast low price phone with free offline GPS ,maps, local area search , love how it places everything u want to know and see into convenient mini billboards so u can easily check friend status or new pictures, also keep up to date with local news, weather or deals ....... tiles are easy to place and set to your preference, I thought color themes were more customizable ( each tile ) but apps solve with xbox was cool remote and games .....SD did not work as I thought u must load files (music etc..) onto from computer still ...did not find what was stored already on my card (music/videos) takes very nice pictures and the super bright flash acts as a great flash light with app......was very hesitant to buy at first but for the price and what you get its a sweet deal compared to the phones pretending to be SMART in the same range

Excellent phone for smart apps and chat

I liked the virtual keypad and its sensitive touch ,the phone is beauty at its best. I hope ,Nokia alias Microsoft will never sell this kind of quality in future after its acquisition. I suggest go for it ,, the only thing i disliked is it has the front camera but was unable to use video calling apps like tango is not available in Store.. hope it will come soon..

fantastic product

This is a fantastic phone when picked up on sale. I have a iphone 5 but traded in to use this phone instead. It does all of what I need for work/business. The main deficiency is the deficit of games. The advantages are many. Offline GPS. Fast. Good battery life and a smooth UI. Would highly recommend it. There is a reason that nokia is a making a comeback in the smartphone world.

Nokia Lumia 620

Bought this cell phone a couple of weeks ago and so far have been very impressed with it. Having never used Windows 8 before, I thought it might take getting used to but it is very user friendly. Have had some problems sending attachments but I think that is more of a Telus issue. Bottom line, I would definitely recommend this phone.
