There is a difference between Passive & Active!!!

In reply to the other one star reviews, whoever helped you told you to get the wrong pair of glasses. There are two types of 3D TVs Active and Passive. You stated your Sony TV came with Active glasses, that means it will only work with the battery operated ones and therefore more expensive. Passive 3D TVs use the same technology as the cinema and thus you need Passive Eyewear (which are these ones) same as the movie theater kind and that's why they are cheaper and your TV will even work with the same glasses you get from the cinema. Please do your research and notice there is a major difference in price for a reason. I have not tried these glasses so not aware how comfortable they are. Just wanted to make people aware of the misleading reviews.

colourful pasive 3d glasses

I purchased these with my new sony 3d television. Got home; tried them and they do not work at all. Tried different 3d settings on my tv and still nothing. Fortunately a pair of active 3d glasses came with the television so that we were able to watch our 3d movie that night.. I was disappointed since they claim they should work just as well as the ones at the cinema. They did not work even a little. I do not understand and quite disappointed since I have to now purchase a few more of the expensive active ones instead in order for all our our family to enjoy this 3d experience at home.
