So...

I'll start with the pro. (Yes, pro. Singular.) This product heated up very quickly! You were able to choose the temperature, and it was heated up in less than 30 seconds. Cons. This product wasn't the greatest thing. It was bulky, heavy, and quite loud. To start, it took about 5 minutes to figure out how to turn this darn thing on. It also took quite a while to actually dry/straighten my hair. I have shoulder-length hair, and to only do the bottom half of my head, it took 45 minutes! I had to go over the same piece at least 10 times before it was remotely "good". I figured I'd attempt it wet, because it's a wet-dry iron. My hair wasn't even that wet; it was damp. It will usually take me about 25 minutes to blowdry my hair, and another 15-20 minutes to straighten the untamed pieces. So the fact that I only got 1/4 of my hair done in the same amount of time, was ridiculous. Another con, was that after about 10 minutes of use, my arm was getting sore from holding it up; and because it's so big, my hand was getting a cramp in it from having to adjust it all the time. Overall, I wouldn't buy it ever again. I wouldn't give it as a gift. I wouldn't want it in my house. I'd rather go with frizzy, untamed hair than have to use this product.

Works better than expected

I didnt keep my expectations too high, I've had bad luck with expensive hair straighteners. My hair is very long and thick and no way did I think this would work on wet hair. It did! I can't get a totally sleek look because the vents cause some wispiness at the ends, but hey I have decently straightened hair in less than 30minutes!

Does what it says on the tin

I bought this for my wife as she has a longish commute and can't spend a lot of time on her hair when getting ready for work. It dries hair reasonably fast and straightens well, allowing one to skip a styling step. My hair doesn't take well to flat irons when damp but it seems to work okay even for me on the odd occasion I need to use it. We found it an especially good buy as we got it when it was on sale for a significant discount.

Awesome!

I LOVE this flat iron! Heats up in seconds, it only takes me about 5 minutes to straighten my waist length hair. The carrying/storage case is great, and the fan that dries your hair as you go makes it a lot easier for my morning routine. An even better bonus is how environmentally friendly both the product and the packaging are, not to mention that I received it the day after I ordered it!!!!! Thumbs up, I'd recommend this to anyone!

great overall use

i wanted to save time and have less appliances - this product does that - it is bulkier than other straighteners but it also has a fan so it dries - the travel case is nice to keep it contained - great buy if you get it reduced price with a coupon

Good Quality Product

Less noisy than I expected for a flat-iron with a fan in it. Pretty big and bulky but it does what it's supposed to do, dries/straightens your hair from wet. Have to go over hair 2 or 3 times, 1-2 times to dry it, then the 3rd to make it straight. I would say overall the time it takes to straighten with this product is longer than a blow dryer and a straightener. But I looove that this product is more environmentally friendly than others.
