Excellent functions, great price

Assuming that the protection offered by this power manager is as stated (and the manufacture offers a $200,000 warranty to this effect), then it is an excellent product. I had little difficulty inserting cords into the sockets - just had to push a little harder than a regular outlet. The functions are quite good with 4 outlets that power down automatically if the appliance on 5th master outlet is turned off or goes into sleep mode. The feature can be turned off to act like a regular power bar. In addition to these 5 outlets, there are an another 2 always on outlets. Even though the unit provided a spaced outlet for those wide adaptors, I was not able to use all the regular outlets as some of my plugs were a bit wider than others. The box comes with adhesive pre-labeled tags that identify the device. These are quite helpful although not very sturdy. But I don't change things often so no prob for me. Also, the instructions were helpful and not overly onerous. I got these on sale and bought 4 units. I am very pleased with the purchase.

On sale -- Good buy

The comments above mention that the plugs are blocked. I just pushed the plugs into each one and then it worked. It's just new and that is why it's a little bit on the tight side. I also turned off the energy saving button so that all the outlets are ALWAYS on. Its just a matter of reading the instructions. Works fine for me!

Waste of money

Waste of money. I have to return this trash. None of the outlets will allow a plug to go in. The openings are too small.

I can't believe it

I picked this surge protector up last week and ended up returning the next day. I could not believe it, but only 2 of the 7 outlets worked. I mean that I could not plug in into any of the other 5 outlets because they were blocked. When I looked to see what was blocking the plug I noticed that the space allotted for the plug was way to skinny. I hope this was just a one in a million thing, but you might want to check the product before you leave the parking lot. Just to make sure it is in good working order.
