Works as it is supposed to.....

I see the negative reviews mostly a problem with hookup or compatibility issues. Not the splitter. If you happen to get a bad one, just take it in for an exchange. I have 2 of these working in different setups and they have worked perfectly for almost 2 years. These are a great solution to connecting 2 HDTVs.to 1 source.

Threw It Away.

I bought it to split the output from a laptop to a computer monitor and a TV. After a few days it would randomly crash the computer and/or the TV. Scary waste of money.

Seems to work well

I have been using this for about a month now and have had relatively little trouble with it. It works as promised and I am able to watch whatever using both HDMI cables at once. It does sometimes take a couple extra seconds to 'kick in', and I think it sometimes causes quick flashes of white lines across the screen, but probably only once every couple hours.

too bad so sad

I bought this because my receiver is not 3D so i plan to send one signal to the receiver and the other to the tv.When plug in hdmi out 1 to tv and hdmi 2 to the receiver ,sound was ok to the amp and image was also ok but with a 3d moviei had a message that my tv was not 3D.When i switch output from 1 to 2 and 2 to 1,now the 3D movie work well but no sound from the receiver.I exchange it because I tought it has a default but the second one did the same thing so I returned it for refund .I really wished it would have worked as describe

Stops working after a short period of time

I was trying to use this splitter to watch TV in 2 different rooms and it only worked for about a week... after that, it started working less and less. (Weird, huh!?) After a month, only about 1/2 the channels worked, and some would only have audio and some wouldn't show at all. I returned it to Best Buy... Maybe, if you buy one from them, you'll get mine!

HDMI splitter

Does everything as it should and a very minor annoyance, it takes a few seconds longer for the tv to come on. Other than that it was easy to install and works fine.

Ok

It's an ok device. Can't get it to work with HDMI version 1.4, only 1.3b. Using it to capture game play since my capture card has a 2 second delay trying to play direct. Had it 30 days and it still works, so I can't complain too much.

Works Great

Works flawlessly. I have this splitter splitting an HDMI out from my pioneer receiver travelling 50 feet to a projector and the second output going 20 feet to a flat screen. The projector screen comes down over the flat screen so I do not use both screens at the same time. The screens display the picture perfectly and dispite other comments the second output device DOES NOT NEED TO BE ON for the first to work or vice versa. Both projector and flat screen are 1080p resolution. I have no audio lag at all.

Rocketfish HDMI splitter RF G1182

I bought this unit because the same was available at a much higher price elsewhere so i didn't feel that this reflected the quality. Several reviews did mention that the units had just stopped working but more said that they were very happy with theirs. Mine also stopped working. The audio signal became progressively harder and harder to establish by changing channels until this failed to work anymore either. Worked fine at first though.

It works very well.

I am using the splitter to feed a plasma TV through 50ft HDMI cable and my HD PC Monitor from a HDMI output on my PC. Both PC and TV show excellent picture. No problems at all.
