DO NOT BUY

By all appearances, the camera works... well, it might work. You see, it comes with software that is required for post-processing. Unfortunately, the software cannot be activated. Samsung refuses to help, tries to redirect the problem to everyone else. The software itself is made by a third party who will also not help unless you pay extra to speak to someone. Do not buy this if you actually want to use it.

Great 360 video,

Works great, only problem if you don't have a Samsung phone to use it makes for a lot of extra work to get it done

Not Without Its Issues.

On the surface this camera works good and is pretty cool, but once the initial gimmick factor wears off you'll soon realize the picture quality isn't that good and that the darn thing overheats after only a couple minutes of recording. Not only that, but if you use the camera for a long period of time you can end up warping one of the sensors from overheating, making one side of your footage completely blurry and out of focus. Have had to return 2 of these so far for the same issue of the front lens turning into a macro focus instead of infinity focus like the other lens, making the footage basically unusable.

timelapse ok

this camera doesnt take good photos compare to the ricoh theta s. lens cover is too far from the lens causing a lot of flare and make 2 image with different exposure. only timelapse mode is worth it for this camera. video is still very poor not watchable when u put on a gear vr google.

Capable 360 Camera, Video Recorder

Works well when coupled with a Galaxy S7 cellphone. Takes beautiful 360 photographs. The video renders great through the mobile app but appears granulated when stitched with the desktop/windows Director software. Make sure to prepare plenty of storage space, a 15 minute video equaled 4 gigabytes and when viewed through a Gear VR headset, the experience was outstanding. Great build quality and sturdy buttons, lack of quality cases. Invest in a folding monopod with base. Used the app with a Note 5 but it was unable to render 4K video so it downgraded the video quality. It is usable but not as well as with the Samsung S7.

Amazing camera.

I've been waiting for this camera for a long time. I'm glad that I already have it. Perfect for any kind of event. Big memory capacity up to 128gb. And removable battery. No more facing in any angle. Love this Samsung gear 360° action cam.
