Wireless Headphone

Bought this headset on sale at Best Buy and love them. The RF base unit and RCA jacks worked beautifully in my home theater set-up. My PVR and receiver are in the basement and my TV and surround sound speakers are on the main floor. When my wife goes to bed before me, I needed to be able to listen to my shows with headphones and mute the surround sound speakers. I needed a system that could be connected to my PVR to pick up the audio and transmit an RF signal to the headphones and this wireless system worked perfectly. Since the headphones use AAA batteries, they dont need the base unit for charging. Great solution.

Scary headphone

The base will shut down in a few mins automatically once it doesn't receive any signal. You will have to turn the headphone off even if you pause your video/music for a few mins break otherwise the scary extremely loud noise will harm your ears. Quality is not bad.

Excellent value

Excellent value. comfortable , sometimes a bit scratchy sound but would certainly recommend them for value and performance

Practical but not amazing

Not adjustable, slides off depending on head size No battery charge stand. Sound quality is pretty good, no fuzziness

We ended up replacing batteries like once a day, the ones they have died in few hours so we started using rechargeable ones and we are constant charging

Value for the money

If you are looking for superior quality wireless headphones you can certainly find them and you will pay significantly more for them than these Sennheiser headphones. I had a pair of Sony wireless headphones and they were heavier, were not as easy to tune (often had static) and the band across the top that activated sound when put on was a pain. These headphones are crystal clear, light and you just turn them on and off. The recharger is convenient and after 6 months I have had no issues. The one area they need improvement is with the ear piece/padding. It does not fit "over your ear" it fits on them. Having said that, I have used them almost every night catching the news or watching a show without disturbing my wife. I believe I received real value for the price.

Cheap wireless headphones, annoying hum.

I suppose they might work fine if you live in suburbia or in the country. In the city they pick up way too much background, so it sounds like someone is constantly humming a sort of droning, annoying buzz. Maybe you get used to it after a while, but honestly why try. With wireless performance is this poor you're better off with wires.
