Great Sound and Quality at a Budget Price

This guitar is great value for the money. Despite a common complaint about sharp fret edges, my guitar was perfect. Machine heads hold a tune and the pickups are great. Being a Tele, it's super easy to play. One thing to note, both the fretboard and back of the neck are unvarnished maple with a very smooth finish. I like it, but beware that the neck will feel slightly different from one that is varnished. This will really help you decide if you want a more high end Squire or Fender Tele. Great value for the money. But make sure you have enough money left for a decent amp.

Get Playing

I am a bass player that plays a little guitar. I am a tele fan so I have been waiting for the right tele to come along. I was amazed when I played this guitar. It plays well and looks great. The electronics may not be high end as the 2000 dollar fenders however for [price] this is amazing. So if you are debating what guitar to pick up as a beginner or as one for around the house, this one will is worth playing.

Squier Telecaster

Impeccable finish. I dont play guitar as mu this sed by the quality and this playability of this model. Some frets are a little sharp but can easily be filed down with a bit of care. Previous reviews were most helpful. Tremendous value for the money. Extremely satisfied.

Very Surprised

I bought this expecting that at best I would have some basic parts that I could use to start constructing an experimental custome tele without a great deal of investment upfront. I was very surprised. The neck on this guitar is effortless...almost as if it had been sanded down but without impacting the finish. The body, and finish is absolutely spot on...not a blemish and it looks as though it was set up with care. Intonation is bang on and the only complaint I have is that the frets need filing along the edge all the way down the neck....a minor detail. The machine heads are cheap and I will replace them, but I am rethinking how I am going to approach this build. The sound is great. I have not taken it apart yet to see what the fit and finish or electronics look like, but so far, very impressed. I have played guitars 10x this price and they did not have the playability that this little unit does. Well done China.... I may buy another.

Awesome Squire Tele

I'vve played guitar for many years and I've had two teles in the past as well as a Fender custom strat plus many more and for the price of this guitar I would give it a five hands down. [...] Frets smooth, great neck, clean clear pickups, nice finish. I would buy another!

new axe

The product was great except for some minor tweaks! it sound great stock as it is, no scratches, dings or nicks on the paint. All you need to do with this guitar is to "file" the fret ends as it was still sharp, there is a risk of scratching or might cut your skin while playing it. You would know this when you get a grip on the neck and slide it up and down. If you don't know how to do it I suggest you bring it to a guitar shop for sure they know how to correct it. Over all, price wise, its a ten thumbs up!!! for an entry level guitar.... Sounds great and affordable!!!!! Go and click that buy button and ROCK ON !!!!!
