Terrible product

Two of the phones broke after a few months. Sound quality is awful. Spend the extra money and go with Panasonic.

out or range or no pwr at base

I have had out of range on phone many times and unplugged and replugged and it was working again. Many times and now I can only see out of range or no pwr at base. It will not work again. Just over a yr now and I am stuck with it. Cheap product.

Purchased this set to replace an existing vtech phone, because it was cheaper to buy a new one than to replace the batteries on our old set, which we have had for 5years. I have no complaints about the operation of this new set or my old one.

Great if you buy one sale - call quality is averag

I bought for [price] and for my use as home phone (1-2 hours / week of talk time) this was just fine. I wanted a phone that had multiple handsets and that was of good quality. the handset is built well, buttons are firm, push to talk works VERY well (use that more than actually as a phone). was disappointed (like many here) on the call quality. advertised as HD voice but i am not sure how that was classified, the voice is average at best, a bit hollow...but i can hear the caller clearly, and they said i sounded clear too. overall, not bad...but if i was more serious about a home phone i would NOT buy this product, I would stick with Panasonic.

Amazing phone, amazing Value!

I have owned this set for several years now, and just bought a second set to use in the same home. There is no interference between the two sets, and each one works extremely well. Excellent build quality, plenty of features, and a real value on sale!

So far, so good

Bought this phone on sale. Great price for 3 handsets. I've had it for about a month and so far, so good. No complaints, easy to use, with a nice sleek design. I have always been a Panasonic brand user, so I was hesitant to try the VTech. But I couldn't pass up the price!

Not a bad choice

Nice looking phone with a small footprint base. No issues with voice quality. Adaptor makes a buzzing sound with the first set that I purchased. Returned and the new set did the same thing . Keeping it for now

VTech 3-Handset DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone ((LS6425-3

Good phone so far. Reception is good, distance from base is good, intercom is a nice feature. Call blocking option would have been nice. Overall, good phone though.

Excellent Phone

I've bought the single phone and answering machine. I've had it for 2 years. Works great all the time. The speaker phone option is the best. The sound is clear. The only downside if it goes out of range the battery drains to absolute zero within 2 hours and you will need 24 hours to recharge it.

VTech 3-Handset. DECT 6.0 (LS64253)

This model could have been my best buy if the voice sound of the caller id were improved to be more clear and understandable.

Not happy with overall sound quality and reception

Purchased this VTech phone based on positive reviews. Nice looking device with good features -- however, I am disappointed by the sound quality of the LS6425. Voices at the other end sound muffled and there is a constant hissing sound while the other person is speaking. Others have also reported that the sound of my own voice is not great on the device. Sound quality has always been crystal clear in all my previous Panasonic phones. Decided to give this VTech brand a try - will be returning it and going back to a Panasonic, even if it costs more.

So far so good. I've had these for a few weeks and a few weird things in the first few days, but nothing since. Call quality seems to be good. The features are nice, such as voice caller id, intercom...

Good Product

Have been using this for last 6 months and have nothing negative to say about the product. It does what it's meant to do. Like some of other reviews, I have not faced any problem with voice or handset. All works perfectly well. Buy it!!!

Have been using for 8 months and it's broken. The headsets fully charged but the answer machine and the phones won't connect. The odd time they are connected once the phone rings it drops connection again. Terrible phones!

Does the job

I bought this phone because of its slim profile and lightweight handsets. I agree with the other reviews that the sound quality is not really HD and is a bit on the teeny, high-pitched side. But let's face it, we are not in a recording studio or watching a Blu-ray film through a 7.2 surround system. For us, it does what it's supposed to do. Features: Speakers- I don't like the fact that the speakers are in the back of the handset. It makes the sound not as loud when you're using the speakerphone feature. I noticed the volume all around is somewhat on the low side anyways. Answering machine - it has a built in answering system that you can access remotely when you're not at home. A good alternative to the service providers'voicemail feature. Only drawback is that when 2 people call you simultaneously, only one vm will be recorded. But that's a hardware limitation altogether. Message indicators. Only the vas has this. When you get a message, only the main base will light up with the number of messages indicated on the base (in red light). The other bases doesn't have a blinking light or anything. This is annoying since you can't tell if you have a message from anywhere else, except if you check the main base unit. Also, if you're using your service providers' voicemail feature then there's no notification at all, no blinking light or anything, except for a small envelope icon on the hand unit's screen which is mostly dimmed unless you press a button. I like how our old vtech cordless phones had this blinking light feature. Altogether it works well and I'm keeping the set.

Average telephone

I agree with Mr Darryl. I like the features, but sound quality is not great.

Great features, but not HD audio

I had a cheap cordless phone that worked, but friends would sometimes complain about the sound quality. I went hunting for a new phone with my number one priority being the sound quality. I chose this phone because of the advertising of HD Audio. The sound is tinny, and at high volume (level close to max) it distorts terrible both when using the speakerphone or normal phone. I'm not very impressed with the sound quality on this new model phone. Even adjusting the sound using the builtin equilizer doesnt help much. On a positive note, the phone is very light weight, people I call seem to hear me well and tell me I sound clearer than I did on the old cordless. There are 3 phones which is nice. I love the talking caller Id. For the price I think it's an ok phone. I'm just a bit disappointed with the HD Audio advertising.
