Great Picture

The 4k quality is amazing and is really noticeable compared to Blu-ray. At first it didn't seem to be much different but after setting my TV settings properly the picture looks amazing. The frame rate and smoothness are really high which make it look so real. Whoever says it's not that great hasn't hooked it up properly. I'm not even using HDR and I am using a cheap 60inch vizio TV. If your TV isn't 60 inch or higher then you won't get much of an effect for the 4k. I will be buying every good movie on 4K since it's like watching it for the first time and it's just amazing. The movies look like there shot through a home video camera which makes it look so real and vivid. I love it. I'm addicted.

Great movie, and decent 4K presentation

I don't claim to be a 4K expert but I have a 4K monitor, and a 4K samsung tv, and now the samsung 4k player and this + couple of other movies. The video quality primarily is the concern for 4K... and while this was always a great movie (this is a double-dip for me), the movie itself was not always necessarily a visual spectacle per se. The special effects are noticeably lower res than the movie footage itself, as I understand movie effects were always mastered in up to 2K... not sure if the movie was recorded as such as well. To me this is the best movie for the launch titles for 4K just for movie itself... in terms of video quality, it's decent enough but not mind blowing to justify 4K for some other people.
