Good Little Toaster Oven

We bought this smaller device to replace a large full size toaster / convection oven and have not been disappointed. The kids are gone and we no longer needed a counter top hog taking up space as we head towards simplification. It works pretty much as advertised, looks good and takes up less space. Recommended!

Great little oven.

We've had this about a month now and it does everything we need it to do. Quick to heat, cooks evenly and the timer is a great feature. Smaller footprint than our previous oven but is big enough for whatever we use it for. Build quality seems good. Totally happy with it.

Great little oven!

We bought this toaster oven because it was compact, stylish, efficient, and does a great job (according to reviews). It fits nicely into our kitchen and really is a great addition to our appliance line up. It heats up very quickly, is very efficient, and does a very nice job of baking/toasting our foods. It easily fits 4 slices of bread in the morning for a quick and easy breakfast and bakes our cookies in the evening evenly. Love it!

must have kitchen appliance

this toaster uses infrared heating elements with several set programs to do different things like toast, bake, broil, or reheat with two different rack positions. You can warm up to 425 degrees Fahrenheit under 2 minutes, making it a great choice to heat things when you're in a hurry. It's also a great choice if you don't have that much counter space. Otherwise you can go for the bigger brother pro version. the only reason it's not 5 stars is it doesn't have the extra little features the pro version has (e. g. rack pushes out when door opens, convection) but just don't have the counter space for one.

Delivers as promised

We needed an efficient unit with a small footprint for our compact kitchen counter area. User-friendly functions and good performance to date. Would happily recommend this toaster.

Inline fuse a problem

Two months after the one-year warranty expire our Breville BOV 450XL quit working. No power. Yes, it was plugged in, and yes, the outlet was fine. After checking online, it seems like a common problem is the 10-amp inline fuse, which seems to blow even when you're just making toast. Will cost you to have fixed, or if you're so inclined, you can find the fuse assembly (BOV 450XL/63), open the thing up and replace it yourself. Otherwise, no complaints about this toaster oven, but be forewarned about the fuse.

I searched for the best toaster oven and found great reviews on this. We have no complaints so far and are completely satisfied.

Awesome Toaster Oven

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and we've used it extensively. It's our first toaster oven. I returned one that I had previously bought, because the toast didn't turn out well and it was too digital - as in too much to learn to use. The Breville mini doesn't take up much room on my counter and has been excellent so far (fingers crossed it stays this way). Very easy to use. I agree with previous reviewer though, it would have been perfect if the rack slid out when you opened the door. I would highly recommend this to friends.

Mini Toaster Oven

This is a great oven with a small footprint. It is easy to operate and does what it claims. I didn't find the "alarm" sound to be objectionable. The construction quality is high. The only complaint that I have is when the door is opened, the rack is not pulled forward. The rack is too hot to handle so you need an oven mit to pull it out. When making toast, it would be much more convenient if you could just open the door and take the toast out with your hands.

Great oven, lousy toaster

Great oven, but makes lousy toast. Top of toast browns nicely, but bottom only gets some toasting between the rack wires. As well, the alert buzzer is quite loud and annoying. Other than that though, it's a great oven, small, well made, and the controls are easy to use and work well.
