Great Printer if you don't need Wifi

Great Printer if you don't need Wifi. I'm in IT and had a lot of trouble with the Wifi-Printing. Still not able to print wireless. Gave up on it for now but if you don't need this feature get the model without Wifi for much cheaper.

Perfect Home Printer

Great alternative to inkjet printing. Use primarily for university and high school papers. It was easy to setup on my WiFi and the MacBook found it immediately. quick setup on the iphone. Very versatile. The sleep function is highly rated on this as it uses virtually no power when asleep. Wakes up and prints quickly. Highly Recommend!!!

Not bad!

I got it on sale recently and it was worth the money. Exactly what I wanted and other then being a bit loud I have little to complain about. It is pretty basic.

Great Black and White Printer

We are pleased with this printer. It was easy to set up and the print quality is very good. For the sale price it is great value. We wouldn't pay full price for it though. Very glad we bought this printer. Our other colour printer only lasted over a year and was going to cost more to fix than it was worth. So, we are hoping buying the Brother brand will be better quality and last a lot longer.

Fast Printer, Below Average Print Quality

Fast printer, great value at [price] on sale, print graphics are below average, but probably good enough for most people. AirPrint is great, but doesn't work when the printer is in "Deep Sleep" mode which it enters within 5 minutes, so you have to wake it up first. Duplex works great. The printer seems to draw a lot of power when idling. I have a decent UPS for my PC in the same room with the printer plugged directly in the wall, and my UPS frequently switches to the battery when the printer is awake until it enters deep sleep. Very annoying, but would only affect those with a UPS nearby. Overall, good value for your dollar when on sale.

This printer has an amazing performance! It does duplex printing in one step! No need to turn the pages and manually feeding them.

Simple, practical and easy to setup.

Simple, practical and easy to setup. I hope it is as reliable as an older model 2230 which is still running in a small office environment without any maintenance for over 2 years other than changing the toner cartridge. It is a good disposable printer for personal use or a small office environment.

Quick Printer

This little beast is great for students printing off lots of reading material, and the two sided printing is a bonus. There is nothing like printing off a 50 page article in a little over a minute before running out the door.

Great little printer

Excellent features/printer for the money. I would definitively recommend this printer. The only problem it has is that it acts like a teenager, when it goes into deep sleep it seems like it takes forever to wake up :)

A great low cost printer

I purchased this printer based on the previous printer I had which also was a Brother. The print quality is great and the ability to print double sided is a real paper saver. Definitely worth the cost.

Excellent printer, easy setup

I use a MacBook Pro and, as suggested by the installer, used a USB cable temporarily so that the MacBook could communicate the setup information to the printer so that it could be used wirelessly. Worked perfectly and quickly. (If you have a corporate VPN client, you have to disconnect from the corporate network before you do the install and whenever you want to print).

Excellant printer for the cost

I purchased this printer to replace a older Brother Laser printer. I had very good service from the older printer and I decided to replace it rather than buy a new drum and toner. I prints very well and was very easy to set up. I would recommend this print to other customers.

Wonderful Printer

I bought this printer a few weeks ago for home use. My new computer made my perfectly fine HPLaser Printer obsolete . Very frustrating to say the least. I looked at the HP wireless monochrome laser printer in the same price range but it seems very cheap quality in terms of the buttons, paper drawer etc. I decided to go with Brother this time after lots of weeks studying what was on sale and the reviews. I noticed that many people complained that the Brother 2360 was hard to set up. The Brother 2360 was extremely easy to set up for me. I have used computers for years but haven't any experience in setting up wireless products. I installed this printer to use with my Apple Mac Air. The instructions were clear, the process easy and within 10 minutes I had it up and running. I didn't use a USB cable so it took a flew minutes longer (but again the instructions were all on screen and simple.) Mac Air has no disc drive either so the disc that came with instructions was not needed. I expect that if you use the disc for the instructions the whole process is a bit quicker overall but not sure about that. The printer itself prints quickly and 2 sided with ease. I am extremely pleased with the printer.

We had to return the printer

This printer is not good for a small business due to the fact that you can not use pre-printed cheques (why we bought it) without manually reverse ordering the numbered checks prior to printing. If you print checks do not buy a Brother look at HP.

Excellent Device at Excellent Price

Bought this printer at Best Buy in Toronto. Following week was on sale for less [$price]. Received the difference back. Most stores won't do it. Perfect printer for my home needs. Love two sided feature. Fits precisely in the printer space in my desk. Set up was a breeze. Needed some easy action loading into the laptop, but not loading the desktop PC. Once the disk was inserted, it did all the work by itself without any action from me. I would definitely recommend this device to a friend.

Great Product

Bought this printer to replace a Samsung. Set up on the laptop was easy. The older PC with cable, just introduced the CD and set up was done without any intervention from me. Really easy. Not noisier than Samsung. Love the double sided print. The compact size was one of my requirements. It fits perfectly on my office desk. I would suggest this product to my friends.
