I really recommend this monitor to people that are designers, gamer or even if you watch movies. The experiences of this monitor is insane a smooth 60hz. There's a lots of settings such as refresh rates, game mode. Also yes it is compatible with the ps4. Its Widescreen so you can get multi tasks. One last thing, i'm enjoying this product so far.
Used with a MAC Mini. Very good image quality. Love the size!
This has to be the best monitor ever... No need to spend extra for the curved 34" unless you're gaming, for normal computer work THIS SETUP IS HEAVEN. Love the software that comes with this monitor which allows me to change to any of the 9 ways I can view and use the screen, splits the screen into 2, 3 or 4 screen layouts. I first connected my MBP using a "Mini DisplayPort" same as "thunderbolt" connector to HDMI but found that the monitor would not display 100% although this worked fairly well, it wasn't as perfect as I wanted. So I went and purchased an adapter which plugs into my MBP "Mini DisplayPort" (same as Thunderbolt) to DisplayPort into the monitor. Now everything is 100%...
I now have full 2560 x 1080 Resolution **** Its so beautiful!!
First off its not 5ms response time, it's 14ms. 5ms is white to white not black to white. Secondly it's overpriced because of the freesync technology if you have an amd card that supports it. The colors are far from natural and the image lacks detail. The widescreen is great but not every game supports it. I can't recommend this monitor because of the price and most importantly the picture quality is bad even for a monitor.
I haven't been genuinely excited and impressed by a monitor since I bought my dual HP 27in IPS panels, but this monster is a step up. After seeing it in store and on sale a few times I was sold and I'm very happy with it. LG always offered excellent value, but has come a long, long way in terms of performance and quality over the years. This monitor is a testament to their success combining sheer size, high performance, extended features, AND a great price (relative).
While the 29in version is much too short vertically given the super-wide ratio, this 34in hits the sweet spot dead on. It's wide enough to span your entire field of vision without sacrificing any vertical height. The price difference between models is steep (nearly double) but well worth the investment as the 29in STILL looks "small". Some will sneer at the 2560x1080 resolution but face it, good luck pushing decent frame rates with even semi-godly hardware on a 4K monitor or finding enough content to watch anyway.
Being and IPS panel the color, contrast, and refresh are all good out of the box, but really shine once tweaked. I can't speak to the FreeSync gimmick, or multi-input screen-splitting features as I don't use it, but having VGA, DVI and HDMI inputs is convenient.
Build quality is excellent, everything looks and feels expensive throughout. The stand is sturdy and clear giving the impression of "floating" which is cool, tilt adjustment with two height settings is fine, and thank you LG for providing VESA mounting. The only mild complaint is the "1 button does it all" menu system which can be a hassle to navigate, and the fact that despite the hefty price tag, LG still included only ONE cable (a short HDMI).
Overall this is an incredibly impressive monitor in every way and well worth the money. If you really want to feel like you're sitting down at a NASA command center and have the money burning a hole in your pocket go pick this up (on sale).
As an amateur Photographer I trust this monitor's colour reproduction do photo editing. As a PC gamer, the freesync and wide screen make games immersive.
The extra display real estate this monitor provides essentially allows you to get rid of dual monitor setups. It has several modes of display depending on your usage: Reading, Photo editing, Gaming. Switching between them is easy and it takes a few button presses underneath the bezel to access these modes. So it's quite a breeze to navigate between modes so long as you remember where they are.
Indeed it's not the best monitor out there but you will probably pay at least 50% to 100% more to get the absolute best in their categories and then they will suffer in the opposing categories: Gaming vs colour reproduction/viewing angles. This monitor comes in the middle of that compromise and it does well for the price point as the freesync at 75Hz makes gaming very fluid and the IPS/colour reproduction is decent compared to pro photo editing monitors.
There is a built in speaker but it's so "tinny" in sound output versus dedicated speakers. I guess if you have space issues and cant have or don't have speakers, it's a nice bonus to include this feature, but it is not the reason to get this monitor.
Despite all these Pro's I will have to dock off a star for poor leveling/ergonomics. It seems LG went for style over functionality for the monitor stand as you cannot adjust height. Depending on your table set up, you will need to find a stand to raise it to eye level. This would have been a 5 star rating if it weren't for the stand.

I was looking for alternative to Apple Thunderbolt display. After some research I decided to try LG ultrawide monitor and even though I really wanted 34UM95-P I went for 34UM67, because that was the only one available at local BestBuy store. I hoped that it might be good enough, but I was total disappointment. Scaling was very bad and fonts in my documents where far smooth and almost difficult to read. I tried all kind of different connections (Thunderbolt to DVI, HDMI, HDMI to DVI) to no avail. If you're looking for Mac monitor I would look elsewhere.
- beautiful colors
- high quality overall
-perfect for productivity
- despite lower resolution than newer monitors, it still has a perfect size/space to do work on it.
-it is big, but not overwhelmingly big. It does not feel like a giant monitor, because it is simple stretched out 27' monitor
-stand does not let you adjust the height and it has limited angle rotation
-resolution is lower than newer monitor version
