I don't use these very often, so take this with that in mind, but I don't have many complaints about these. The only thing I struggle with is that they require a wire to run from the controller to the headset, when using with Xbox. Other than that, battery life is outstanding, sound quality is reasonable, and mute button is large, so overall above average. Only other criticism is that the max volume could be a little higher in some situations. When on sale, I think these are a good value.

Nice gimmicking, not so nice quality.

Out of the box, they look great. LED'S are fun to look at, and the plastic looking into the drivers(if that actually is the actual board) is quite cool. However, it falls short in many ways: The wireless USB picks up interference, the "100ft range" claim is viable... if you were in the middle of a field. The mic is poor quality, and the battery life is like anything else, charge it for too long and it kills it. There is no way of telling whether the set is full charge, or of knowing the rate of energy transfer. Even aesthetically things fall short. After about 4 months of extensive use, the black glossy plastic has chipped off in a spot, and the band across the top has cracked to the point of breaking in 6 places. 6 DIFFERENT places. The various sound options are saddening, because a good headset would give you a premium experience as a normal. Overall, this headset is great for those who don't plan on using the mic, or the wireless function, or the range function... you know what just go and buy a pair of logitech's that have the same quality(if not better) for half the price. Happy hunting.

The look is amazing with the LED. Yet, it is very heavy which isnt comfortable after a a little gaming session. also, it is waaaay big for my head, which isnt very nice looking.

The battery will wear out on this headset! Effectively making it so it no longer has wireless capability. There is also a constant humming sound which is unacceptable.

Pretty good headset

This headset was actually pretty good but, when I plug it in there is a humming sound but it doesn't bother me because its very quit. They just need to change the quality of the chords. The sound and mic quality was also pretty good, I could yell all the way down stairs from the kitchen and the people I'm playing GTA 5 with can just barely hear.

horrible waste of money!

Tried a friends pair of these the other day, I have to say they are perhaps the worst headset I have tried to date! Like other reviewers stated the mic picks up everything, the speakers have this low hum that gets distracting after a while, and probably worst of all depending on what is going on on the screen you wont be able to hear anyone. Both myself and my friend found that when playing GTA 5 for example, whenever we hopped in a car or a jet or even got into a heavy fire fight that we couldn't hear the other players making it pointless for this to even have a mic since you will never hear the other people talking. Now if the world was quiet, i.e. you're just standing in one spot checking things out, then these work great... well good, the hum is still there and the mic still picks up the cat farting in the other room, but at least you can hear the other people online.

Worst headset

i got this headset the other day and man first off it dosnt fit my huge head. Strap is pretty much on unadjustable overall it's a bad head set up I highly not recommend this unless you're really desperate and [...] you just so happen to walk into best buy and stumble across this pile of poo...[...] cummon its stero speakers with a glowing frame nothing big bout this pile of crap..ohh and the wireless static noise is just great youll love it

Everything is awesome. Except the mic, it picks up everything in the room, if I'm playing and get asked a question from a person in front of me the people online can hear that,,they all tell me its like I got them on speaker phone, and it's really annoying,, I try putting on the Xbox standard headset and they all tell me they hear me clearly so really. I wish I had the standard Xbox mic on this prismatic headset it would be gold.

Lots of problems

It looks great and the build is solid, so it should last awhile. But the sounds quality is nowhere near as good as it promotes to be and there is a constant humming/buzzing sound. Mic quality is just awful, i sound like I'm using a built-in laptop mic that has terrible feedback. Lastly, I don't often complain about how uncomfortable a headset is because most of the time they are built to fit anyone's head, but these literally hurt to use after about an hour use. PDP has a great concept here, but i feel like they should have worked out the bugs more. Give them time and I'm sure they will come out with something amazing.

Totally worth buying

I have to say, this is one of the best headset I ever had. In my opinion, it's better than getting those insanely expensive Beats headset. The audio's perfect, everything is functioning like it should be.
